No one POV

Izuku stared at the white ceiling, a blank expression on his face. It was the first day of school. And there was absolutely no way, he was gonna mess this up. After being bullied in school for at least 5 years, there was no way that he could be bullied again. I'll be the kid everyone respects, and has lots of friends, he thought to himself.

"Izuku," his mother, Inko, chirped from downstairs,"You need to get up or else you'll be late!"

He groaned as he sat up, his bones stiff. He hadn't been able to get any sleep, he was too excited to. Who would be able to sleep if they knew they would be attending the same school their idol did? He would be attending Sakura High, the same school his idol, All Might attended when he was his age. All Might is a famous singer that Izuku has praised ever since he could remember. His obsession began when he saw him on TV, smiling with a smile so proud, even Izuku, who tended to be on the timid side, felt confident and happy.

He walked down the stairs, nearly slipping a few times due to his lack of sleep. As soon as he entered the kitchen, the smell of pancakes hit him, causing him to smile. Izuku loved it when his mother made pancakes. He walked towards his mother, grabbing a plate of the golden pancakes from her and kissing her on the forehead.

"Thank you Mom," he managed to mumble.

"You're welcome sweetie," his mother replied, smiling.

He quickly scoffed down the pancakes, savoring the last few bites, before he quickly returned upstairs to change into his uniform. The male Sakura High uniform was grey with with dark green stripes on the cuffs and had buttons. It also included a white polo shirt and a  red tie, which he quickly put on while trying to not wrinkle it. The pants were the same dark green as the stripes on the cuffs.

Izuku quickly raced down the stairs, waving a goodbye to his mother as he exited the door. And began running down the street towards the school. He was lucky, the high school was only a few blocks away from his house. But has he rounded the corner which turned towards the school, he ran into Bakugo; his childhood friend.

"Oi nerd, watch where you're going!" he yelled, clearly annoyed.

"S-sorry Kacchan," Izuku muttered as he continued to race down the sidewalk.

As he reached the entrance to the school gates, he noticed a petite brunette who was picking up her contents the contents of her backpack, which had fallen out. As he neared her, he bent down and began to help her collect her items.

She glanced toward him, gathering her last couple of pencils then stood up.

"Hi there, I'm Ochako Uraraka, but you can call me Uraraka! Thanks for helping me pick up my things!" she smiled, as he handed her the few pencils and notebooks she'd dropped.

"It was no problem," he said, smiling slightly.

"Are you new here?" she asked, her brown eyes shimmering with curiousness.

"Actually, I am. I'm in class 1A." he said, taken aback from her enthusiasm.

"Awesome! We're in the same class! Come on," she said joyfully as she tugged on his hand.

Looks like it was going to be a good year.
