~(Y/N) POV~

I have been friends with the Mist pillar Muichiro since childbirth, even though he started becoming distant when we were eleven. I met up with him again at the demon slayer corps. entrance thing, it was good to catch up with him after all this time. "oi, are you daydreaming again?" I hear a voice ask, I come back into reality "what?" I ask looking up at him (you're sitting down) "I said we have a mission, we were requested to take care of the demon in the south terrorising the mountains" he informs me, "ok then let's go" I say standing up from where I was sitting. I grab onto his arm and lean onto him "I'm still surprised you actually let me do stuff like this" I say as we start walking out of headquarters "I only let you do stuff like this because it makes you happy nothing else" he says looking down, I feel kinda sad at his words so he doesn't feel anything for me then I think as I let go of him.

"what's wrong?" he asks looking at me, "nothing don't worry, let's just hurry up. I'm starting to get hungry" I say giving him a smile before resting my hands on the back of my head "fine after our mission we can get something to eat," he says walking in front of me "yay!" I say with enthusiasm as I catch up to him, I glance at Muichiro to see him smiling that's rare. "you know that's the first time I've seen you smile, it's cute" I say looking straight ahead fiddling with my hands. I glance over at him again to see he completely moved his head away from me, I move closer to see that he's blushing a bit that's also rare I think as I burn the image into my mind it's cute I think I study his features. Muichiro moves his head to look at me but jumps back at how close I was, his face is completely red. he tries to cover his face and starts to walk faster. I only smirk at his reaction.

he's so confusing, what do I do? I don't even know if he likes me back or if a girl has been that close before I think, Muichiro and I walk around the town to find a place to eat. "w-what about here?" he asks pointing at a nice-looking Raman place "sure it looks nice and smells good too!" I say as he practically drags me inside, we sit at a table and look at what we can get "excuse me, are you ready to order?" a waiter asks "oh demon slayers? it's in the house tonight for killing that demon, plus you're a cute one" he adds looking at me, I feel uncomfortable so I look over at Muichiro. he looks pissed I think as I look away "please don't talk to my girlfriend like that, only I can do that" Muichiro says looking up at the waiter.

"eh!?" I say as a blushing mess "what would you like love?" Muichiro asks as he looks me straight in the eye "d-dumpling Udon please" I mumble as I was too afraid to speak "alright then two dumpling Udons please" Muichiro says handing the menus back to the waiter, the waiter walks away. "w-why did you say that?" I ask glancing to my left and fiddling with my hands "he was making you feel uncomfortable correct? people like him will flirt with you unless I said that" he says blushing a little as some tea was served to us "your food will be ready shortly" the lady says as she hands us a small teapot and the cups. "t-thank you" I say as she leaves.

Muichiro and I sit there in silence as we wait for our food "here's your food, enjoy" another lady says putting one bowl in front of each of us "thank you miss" I say as she leaves. Muichiro and I clap our hands together "thank you for the meal" we say in unison before taking apart the chopsticks, I start to eat when the same man that served us the first time came over again "ok if you two are really dating than prove it" he says slamming a hand onto the table. Muichiro sands up and walked over to me, he cups my cheek with his hand and pulls me closer to him. he slid his tongue into my mouth before pulling away, a string of saliva connecting the two of us "enough proof for you sir?" Muichiro asks before sitting back down and eating like it didn't happen.

~Muichiros POV~

that man really pisses me off, I'll have to make sure to kill him before we leave. at least I got a chance to kiss (Y/N), she looks really cute like that I think as I glance at them, they look so helpless I can't help it.

(y/N) and I finish our food and decide it's time to go back to headquarters, "(Y/N) you go ahead, I need to do something quickly" I say walking to the other direction they are going "ok, I'll see you there" they say before walking off. I go to the back of the restaurant to wait for that guy that tried to take away what was mine.

It's been a few hours and he has finally come out, I took a pipe and broke his neck from behind, and now all I have to do is to dispose of the body and weapon. I picked up the body and went on my way to find a demon to dispose of the body.

after I gave the demon the body I now have to go back to the love of my life. I felt happy now that I could have her but the problem is the other pillars, I could get rid of them when they try something I think as I run back to headquarters.

I walk back into headquarters. it was just after sunset when I got back, as I walk in I was greeted by (Y/N) sleeping by the door. I smiled at their peaceful form as their chest rose up and down with every breath, I picked them up and put them onto my lap also falling asleep after a couple of hours sitting like that. "I'll make you mine and no one can take you away from me~," I say into her ear before falling asleep.

I didn't know how to finish this story so I just did this, it was also requested that it wasn't sad so I tried to make the story with as much fluff as there could be. I also wanted to make a fluff story every once in a while
