I find it amusing how Zenitsu flirts with me even though he likes Tanjiro's little sister. he and I have been friends since the final selection. I was walking on the dark floorboards of the butterfly manner delivering something to Aoi when I spot my best friends in the training yard through a window. I quickly speed walk to Aoi and hand her her delivery, I find the nearest door and walk quickly to the training yard.

"oi" I shout, I waved at them while walking over to them, Zenistu holds his arms out signalling for a hug. I ended up running into his arms as I loved hugs. we almost ended up falling to the ground, we start to laugh. Tanjiro helps me up first before helping Zenitsu, I glance at Inosuke. he looks annoyed I thought as I help Tanjiro help Zenitsu up"are you guy's feeling better today?" I ask glancing over everyone. they seem to be back in shape, the last mission didn't end well.

"I'm ok, everyone seems to be ok as well. thanks for asking (Y/N)" Tanjiro says, I give a sincere smile to Tanjiro, "between you and me, Inosuke has been pretty quiet for the past month" Zenitsu whispers to me, I look over at Inosuke. he looks away from me and goes running laps on the manor fences.

"I have a question for you two," I say making the younger boys look at me "what is it?" Tanjiro asks "does Inosuke resent me or something? he seems like he does.." I ask playing with my fingers "not from what I know," Tanjiro says his fingers on his chin in a thinking position. "and why would he resent a beautiful person like you" Zenistu says getting closer to me "ok back it up buddy" I say putting my hands on his shoulder to push him away laughing lightly.

I look to my side to see Kanao, "Kanao, can I speak to you?" I ask standing up and walking to her, Kanao just nods. I lead her away to have a girl talk.

Zenitsu's POV

I was walking around the dark halls when I see Inosuke, I run up to him "hey Inosuke, what's wrong you've been quiet for the last couple of days?" I ask walking up next to him "why do you care?" he asks, looking at me, "I'm concerned, it's unusual that you're this quiet" I say walking after him as he starts walking faster.

"what's the feeling when you don't want to lose someone to someone else?" he asks sitting on the porch I sit close enough "that's love Inosuke, have you never felt it before?" I ask looking over at him, Inosuke just sits there looking up at the stars like he's in deep thought. the weird thing is that he doesn't have his mask on, now that I think about I don't think I've seen him wear it all day. "you seem serious" I say looking up at the stars, I bother to focus on him, he just stays quiet.
