(Y/N) Was one of the strongest Hashira under Gyomie and Mitsuri. On this visit to their estate, Giyuu perched himself on a porch as he watched (Y/N) train Kanao for the upcoming war against the demons. "Everything starts off with your stance as always"
They start off, by handing Kanao a wooden kendo sword for practice. Kanao took it with a determined expression on her face. She gets into her usual fighting stance, and (Y/N) stands close. Fixing the way that she was holding the sword.
"Remember who you're fighting for, Shinobu, Tanjiro, civilians"
(Y/N) helps fix Kanao's posture and stance. Keeping everything respectful and professional. Using her hand to flatten her back and kicking Kanaos feet apart.
"Keep your stance wide, Keep your body lowered. As you move forward balance is absolutely key"
(Y/N) takes a spare Kendo sword themselves, backs away and takes their own stance. Ready to spar. Kanao lunges first, yet (Y/N) could doge easily.
"You're too slow, upper rank demons are fast so you need to be faster"
(Y/N) explains as they step backwards parrying Kanao's attack and any oncoming ones.
"As you're moving backwards, keep your eyes on me. Don't lose sight of my position"
Kanao nods in determination; her will to protect her loved ones is unwavering. too bad that there are a few she cannot protect no matter how much she tries, the plan won't work otherwise. Kanao to struke again. The slams of the wooden sticks hitting each other fill the silent courtyard. Footsteps in the gravel, their occasional grunts and huffs of Kanaos training.
Giyuu sat ideally, as he watched (Y/N) training the young demon slayer, one of their young helpers had brought him a plate of simple rice balls as a light snack accompanied by tea. One of (Y/N)'s many customs of hospitality when anyone visits or for meetings. Everyone receives a light snack with a pot of tea to accompany it. Giyuu glances over at the approaching young girl with a blank expression. Contrasting against her own small smile. She sets down the tray next to Giyuu before walking off and continuing with her duties around the estate.
