PRE-DEBUT LIFE

~ When she was 9 her uncle, Daniel, married Mía García a Black-Latina woman. Savannah says that she's the best thing that happened to them because they could finally eat real food. But also because she is like a mother to her and deepened her into the world of Hip-Hop and R&B music which she found her real jam.

~ Mía was also the one who reached her Spanish and how to take care of her hair properly. Tía Mía, as she calls her, is the one who made people discover that Mizuki was a girl by buying her 'real' girly clothes since her uncle has no sense of style.

~ She already knew about Kpop before coming to America. She is a little bit obsessed with TVXQ and BoA, due to their Japanese songs and choreographers. To convince her to take SM addiction her uncle took her to a SHINee concert that was being held at the city and she got mindblown. With that, she swore to herself that one day she would be a performer powerful like them.

~ When she first moved to South Korea her uncle went with her just to be sure that she would be okay. But after a year he went back to America due to work.

~ Initially she thought that Kpop wouldn't be her vibe, but re-thought it when she started listening to the Korean underground music.

~ She started her training at 2010 and the first person she meets at the SM building while she was lost wondering where was the dance room, she found at Sehun and their encounter was extremely awkward due to the language barrier. Savannah couldn't speak a single word in Korean and he couldn't speak Japanese either. After realizing that she could speak English he took her to Kris and Jhonny who were chilling waiting to the practice start. The three of them quickly clicked and realized that she was, actually, in the right room. Kris nicknamed her Lil Savv after that and basically only called her that.

~ During her trainee time she got close to Jhonny, Seulgi, Kai, and Sehun. Even thou she was younger than them they all got close during that 2 years before Kai and Sehun debuted at EXO.

~ One day she was at an SM corridor having a really homesick time and thinking about having up of everything. She thought that no one would see her but she was caught by Changmin who was just passing by, he could speak Japanese and started to ask her why she was feeling in that way. She vented for a few minutes about how she couldn't speak the language and how she wasn't a good singer. He then promised to teach her some things if she stopped crying which she did immediately. He told her to not give up and that one day she would be an amazing artist. She held his words to his art and worked harder than ever to impress him.

~ Shin Changmin was the one who actually thought her who to sing and achieve high notes, since that she called her Changmin-Sensei. She really looks up to him and Yunho and uses them as a model of perfection and inspiration. Everything they say to her she absolves attentively so she can't miss it.

~ In 2012 when she was 15 SM decided that her Korean was good enough for her to study at a Korean High School and enrolled her at SOPA. Their manager trusted her at the new trainee Jaehyun that was the same age as her and in the same class. They were 'forced' to be together all the time, not only at the school but also at work. They didn't mind and in a short time they were very good friends and meet their 'pack', that is now as the 97' line.

~ In the summer of 2012 her grandmother went all over the way to Korean to spend some time with her. Jaehyun introduced his own grandmother to her, who is also a dance, and they became friends really fast. Even nowadays they get together to spend some time.

~ In December of 2013 she was one of the first members to be introduced as part of the SM ROOKIES alongside Seulgi, Irene, Taeyong and Jeno.

~ After her acting debut at Japan in 2014, she also started a model career. Being really popular at Japan due to her brothers fame made her win a lot of screen time at TV and advertising gigs. She became a Channel ambassador to Japan in 2015. That is one of that things she owned with her talent and beauty, even thou her brother keep saying that and tried to convince her to stay with him in Japan. But she refused to claim that she would make her name on her own and that her real dream is to became a good Idol.

~ Miura Mizuki debuted under a different name she used to act, even if her manager didn't like that. She debuted as Savannah a member of NCT U.  A the song 7th Sence she was a main dancer and rapper*, at Without You she was a vocalist and the female lead of the MV.

~ Savannah and Taeyong helped write and produce the song 7th Sence.
