Narrator's POV
"Shawn... I... uhm..."
Shawn hummed in response as he snuggled closer against his girlfriend.
Camila hesitatingly turned around in his arms to face him before casting her gaze down on the sheets between them. "I c-can't do this anymore, I'm sorry," she whispered out quietly.
Her words were met with silence. She carefully glanced up at him again and frowned hard, she's never seen him looking at her like this. That normally loving glint in his eyes was gone and was replaced with something else. He didn't necessarily look angry though, just more confused. "Please say something," Camila muttered.
He shook his head slightly before chuckling a little. "What do you mean you can't do this anymore? What are you talking about?"
"I think I wanna break up," she said in a small voice. "I-I... I don't like you anymore."
Shawn opened his mouth to say something, anything, but not much seemed to come out. He closed his mouth again and just shook his head once again. His mind still needs to wrap itself around whatever bombshell this is. "How do you suddenly fall out of love like that?" he finally managed to utter out, sounding completely hopeless.
Camila avoided eye contact again as she was being washed over in shame. "Maybe because I was never in love to begin with."
"So all the I love you's..."
"I'm sorry, Shawn," the brunette mumbled, letting the tears roll down her cheeks.

"Y/N, I swear to God, you are going to tell me what the fuck has happened between you two now," Dinah said heatedly as she stalked over to her best friend.
The Y/E/C-eyed girl hugged her pillow tighter to herself and just buried her face in it. "Who let you in?"
Dinah rolled her eyes and yanked the pillow away from her. "Obviously, I just broke into your house. Now tell me what's happened," she urged. It's been another couple of days since that entire confrontation in the middle of the cafeteria. She hasn't spoken to Camila ever since, but that's expectable, I mean, she'd have a lot of guts if she still dares to show herself after what she's told her. But Y/N wasn't that much around either. So today, she just took the initiative to come over at her house after classes.
Y/N let out a shaky sigh as she leaned back against her headboard. She really was on the verge of tears just thinking about it again. "She has a boyfriend, Dinah..." she murmured. "She cheated on him with me. What the fuck am I even to her?"
The Polynesian looked at her best friend full of empathy. She crawled over on the bed and wrapped her up in a hug. "Well, what is she to you?" she asked instead.
"I... I think I've fallen in love with her," the Y/E/C-eyed girl mumbled out before bursting into tears. She's never been much of a crier, but right now, she was just clutching onto her best friend and full-on bawling against her. It just honestly feels like everything that's happened between her and Camila was some sort of game, or at least, she felt like the brunette was treating it like a meaningless game. That's really making her wonder if Camila's ever told her the truth about anything at all. The secrets that girl had was just fucking endless, and she's really getting tired of it.
She was falling so hard for that girl, and now it's almost like she got snatched back to real life in just one second. I mean, it was kind of too good to be true though. What would a girl like Camila even see in someone like her?
Dinah could tell her that Camila did like her back and that whatever she has going on with Shawn was just set up by their parents, but at this point, she's not even sure whether she can trust that anymore. And in all honesty, she can't even remember the last time she saw her best friend cry, so she definitely didn't feel like saying a good word for the brunette. "I'm going to give her a fucking Poly beatdown," she said through gritted teeth as she hugged the Y/E/C-eyed girl tighter.
