Who or what inspires and motivates you to write ?

I get my inspo and motivation from anime or manga ,my friends and the readers of my work.

What genre do you love (to read/write) the MOST and why ?

I mostly write YA/Teen Fiction and poetry, I tried my hand a Fantasy and Action, but it didn't work out before , though I plan to write a different genre soon when I finish my current book (The Expiration List)

Also, reading any book genre is fine by me.

Which character in your book "The Expiration List " closely hits your personality?

Cattleya absolutely fits my personality- awkward, shy , loves to overthink things, coffee lover . After all , my story is really close to home ,hahaha

What is your strongest point in writing? What advice would you give to your fellow writers who are struggling in that category?

I think my strongest point in writing is that my characters have a diverse personality, though chaotic and a mess when mushed together, they also happen to fit and complement each other perfectly and provide each other's reason for development. I am able to make each and every character, have unique traits from one another which used to be my problem from previous works.

I think I can suggest to write down each and every character and their characteristics to be able to differentiate them , especially when you have more than 4 characters showing up every now and then .

Also , it can be a guide because sometimes, the longer you write a story and character development happens, the characters somehow turn into a whole different person and you might end up getting lost with the personalities (which was also a problem for me before) .

Is there any scene you particularly enjoyed writing in your book?

SPOILER ALERT

I enjoyed writing the stargazing at the beach and Grayson's astronomical notes, the PE class where Grayson saved Cattleya from her misery, another thing I really liked was the part where Cat was fooling around with her friends in and out of school especially the sanitizer scene.

But I think my most favourite part is the soon to be published chapter(20)it includes another stargazing scene, drunk Cattleya, making up with her best friend, and confrontations of feelings.

What is something you have improved in your writing over time ?

I had a lot of story ideas and I was always pumped to write them and deliver what i felt like a good story ,but i always end up being stuck at one point and then realizing it has not steady plot.

Now writing TEL, i finally learned how to keep a concrete plot , i learned to not let my characters personality get mixed with each other or stray away very far , i got more crucial about about my own work to see if there isn't any huge plot holes , though i did kind of downgraded with the dialogues and description for not writing for almost a year , but i think having new knowledge in exchange for my bad dialogue-making is just fair , hahaha

Conclusion: It has been lovely to take your interview! Glad to see you progressing more and more . Best of luck!!

P.S I hope you guys enjoyed reading this!
