Who or what inspires and motivates you to write?

Ooo that's a hard one but it would definitely be my mom. She's an author herself and seeing her hard work and dedication motivates me

What genre do you love (to read/write) the most and why?

I absolutely love to read and write dystopian books! All of my favorite movies and tv shows are all dystopian based too. I'm not very into romance books and I like to watch the protagonist overcome obstacles that aren't very realistic in our time today.

Which character in your book closely fits your personality?

I think the character closest to my personality would be Bit. I say this because me and Bit are both athletes and he can be very outgoing and sassy. Most of the time Bit is calm and mature but the second someone says party he's ready. I'm pretty much the same way so I am always excited to write a scene with Bit in it.

Is there any scene you particularly liked writing in your book?

I actually really enjoyed writing the shower scene from chapter 7 it wasn't very impactful but I felt very calm and at peace writing that scene. When I write scenes like that I sometimes get a little carried away and can sometimes feel the calm place I'm describing. This also applies to the very beginning of chapter 1. I just wrote a scene I like a lot in an unreleased chapter 9 so I'm very excited to publish that.

I really enjoyed writing a fight scene in chapter 2 I don't know why I just thought is was fun to write and thought it was a good way to show a bit of her personality

What's something you look for in a story?

I mostly look for a main character that isn't shy or insecure, sometimes its fine but sometimes it can get annoying. I know it's basic but I also love an interesting plot or idea. I like story's with lots of creativity and interesting characters. Haha I'm also a sucker for a good plot twist.

What do you think is your strongest point in writing? What advice would you like to give fellow readers struggling in that category?

Personally I think my strongest point in writing would be my descriptions. Most of the time I have to cut out a few sentences of description because I go overboard a lot. Advice I would give to people struggling with descriptions would be to try to refrain from using "and" a ton. I also use the Grammarly app when I write to try to add interesting vocabulary so I strongly recommend that as well.
