PALATINE INTELLIGENCE SERVICE, Section Apion
Case File: Flying Object
Report: PISAP-189-008/date
Addressed to: PRML G. Beniresh, DIR PIS
From: PRMC J. Adler, HSec AP
As always, I take a great sense of honour and duty in replying Your Honour's latest instructions, gratefully acknowledging the notes you have brotherly shared with my humble being, concerning the closed session of the Inter-Order Oversight Committee of All Secret Organs under the benign beam of the Supreme Brother's immortal wisdom. I feel privileged to be entrusted the confidence of such privy proceedings.
To the enquiry considering the Templar Organ's clandestine operation, through their agent, to obtain prior access to the target subjects, I have the honour to state that my operatives have not been completely idle either. It is only due to the extreme caution as professed by our master agent, AZRAEL, that more excessive reporting on the progress has been delayed, but we have now been able to obtain a full account of the recent days, which I summarize here for Your Honour's illuminated attention:
The now identified flying object of our original concern appears to have been identical to the titan-made vessel that was destroyed in the Isota Incursion at the former station of Iblis. Unfortunately, the vessel appears to have been lost, sunk in an unknown location in the extensive swamps beyond Khansun Lake, in the partly uncharted peripheries of the Anay District of AP. Speaking to an involuntary informant in Supa (who admitted obtaining the information under a slightly intensified scrutiny, as modelled by your humble correspondent's Methodological Guidance to Interrogation on Matters of Intelligence Relevant to the Welfare of the Society / MGIMIRWS, section C), the target subjects described the vessel as inaccessible. Nevertheless, and not least due to the inherent unreliability of the rural subjects in such matters of delicacy, all village patrols have been instructed to pay attention and immediately report on any signs that could lead us to the exact sight of the vessel's wreckage.
AZRAEL provided physical descriptions of the four surviving passengers of the alien vessel, as well as their sketched profiles. It needs to be mentioned that this part of the report was written and dispatched by AZRAEL at the first occasion, yet due to the remoteness of the site of the operation, it only reached Sec AP with several days of delay, along with two later dispatches from the same agent.
On the evening of 11 of Tertian, the four presumed survivors of the alien vessel, three young men and a young woman, showed up in the village of Supa, in the periphery of the remote Anay District. They checked in at the only local guesthouse, the Goldfish Inn, run by a local couple whose loyalty remains to some extent ambiguous, yet they avoid political misbehaviour to an extent that has justified tolerance at their business, which few others would be willing to pick in such a dismal hinterland - I must add, much inferior to the modest charm of Apion.
The assumed leader of the group appears to be a young man of late twenties. Presumed name: Michael Corvin. Taller than his companions, light hair, and fair complexion; seemingly healthy yet has suffered injuries. Constantly wearing a sea captain's cap, a worn-out brown cloak, and under it rather shaggy clothes which show signs of a long journey through the marsh and jungle. He has a notable limp in his left leg. Armed with a dagger (of quality handicraft); possibly other, concealed weapons.
In his company, there are two boys, aged around 16-19. Names: Max Zauberer and Roland Freves, as controlled from oral sources (exact spelling unsure; didn't sign the guestbook). Both in good physical shape, agile, athletic and - according to AZRAEL's assessment - potentially attractive to a female eye. N.B.! M. Zauberer was observed to wear a skull-shaped ring, indicating a possible affiliation to the despicable rebel gorgon unjustly named as Skull Princess. Zauberer was also addressed as "Prince" on various occasions by the female member of the group, which may indicate a clandestine position or relationship to the said rebel. It is advisable, therefore, that the Service seeks to capture him and the other members of the group in a condition that would allow fully enhanced interrogation (as in MGIMIRWS, section K). Zauberer is armed with a good sword and possible concealed weapons.
