You opened your locker to get your history book, when a neatly folded piece of paper fell onto your shoe. This is what it said:
Your eyes are like the sea,
Forever presenting your personality.
If I were to say every good thing about you,
I would die before I ever get half way through.
A single tear rolled down your cheek with the sweetness of the note. You had a secret admirer. Who would have ever thought that you, (Y/N) (Y/M/N) (Y/L/N) would actually get a shot at experiencing love? Who could it be? The only person that you could think about was Jackson, but he never payed much attention in English literature. He also wasn't the kindest of all the people.
History class was one of your favourite lessons of the day. You had been learning about the Norman Conquest of 1066, and loved finding out how much life had changed since the middle-ages. When it came to the end of the day, you saw Jackson picking a fight in a small kid, who looked like he wasn't a great fighter. He wasn't only using physical abuse, but also verbal abuse. He called the boy Catnip multiple times. You went over to stop the fight, but ended up being punched round the face and given a black eye. "Are you okay?" The boy who was also being beaten up asked.
"I think so." You replied. Asides from all of the cuts and bruises on his face, the young man was actually quite attractive. Well, he was with them as well.
The next day, you got two letters from the mystery man. The first one gave you a clue as to who it might be.
You're drugging me with your beauty.
I am the cat and you are the nip.
Catnip
"Maisy." You said at lunch. "I think I'm in love."
"Who with?" She asked. You told her about the letters and the fight last night.
"And I think it's Peter writing me the messages." You spotted him walking across the hallway and excused yourself from your best friend to take a look inside of your locker. Indeed there was another note lying there.
Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
I heard what you said,
And I love you too.
You turned around to see nobody but Peter standing there. "Is this you writing the notes."
"Maybe." He replied. Now it was obvious. You pulled him into a kiss, completely forgetting that you were still in school. He pulled away smiling. You were panting slightly, but it was definitely worth it.
