"NOOO!" You just about heard Bucky scream.
Flashback
"Are you sure you want to go on this mission?" Bucky asked for the third time.
"Yes and anyway. If you're going to die, you'll have the love of your life lying next to you." That sounded maybe a bit too boastful coming from you mouth.
"Yeah. Right." He joked.
Later that day, you and Bucky were defending yourselves from a group of hydra pirates. They had bombarded you and were attacking you.
Everything had been going your way mostly, until a man who looked to be the leader of the party showed up. "Aah! The famous Winter Soldier." He sneered.
"I don't go by that name any more, Now, tell us why you want the vibranium files." Bucky murmured.
"I-" But before he could say another word, a knife pierced his stomach. Your knife.
"What was that for?" Your partner sighed. You could tell that he didn't really want a response though. More assassins appeared out of the trees.
"You're coming with us." One of them hissed. You charged forwards to protect your love. You put your arms out and stood between the enemies.
"Why does this always have to end in a-" but before you could finish your sentence, a bullet sank deep into your skin.
"NOOO!" You just about heard Bucky scream.
Back to the present
He rushed over to where you were standing.
