Josh's POV (I hope this is good with y'all. I wanted to change it a little.)
I watched her as she walked upstairs, I'm not a creep or anything but she's good looking.
"So what do you think of her?" I ask Sam, taking my eyes away from the doorway once I hear her go up the stairs.
"She's not going to last a day in this hell hole," Sam says, not looking up from his food. Buddy is right tho, she has no clue what she's walking into.
With that short conversation, I look back down at my cereal, which is now mush, and pick around at my food. Sam's right though, she's not going to make it. Everyone has their friends and groups already. Fitting in now will be hard. Even if she has her looks going for her, she seems shy and quiet. Not things you want to be when you're trying to make friends.
The girls at school will have a fun time with her. She'll make all the other girls insecure, her blonde hair and body making her noticeably beautiful. The girls at our school won't like that, anything that can take attention away from them they will eliminate.
I don't realize how deep in my thoughts I am until I get a punch in the arm. My hand shoots up to rub it, it didn't hurt that bad, but it's still a punch.
"Sam, what the hell?" I yell looking up at Sam, seeing him just glaring at me I turn my head to my other side to see Andrew getting out a bowl and cereal as well. He's reaching up and smirking, shirtless. Oh, I'm going to get him back.
"When did you come down?" I ask, looking at Andrew.
"Oh after I had a run-in with Lilly, she's mean though ya know? Girl knows what she wants." He says, oh god what did he do?
"Yeah, Josh over here has been drooling about her since last night. You should have seen him this morning, walking up behind her, trapping her, what was your mind thinking there Josh? Is little Josh alright?" Sam says smirking too now, god why do I even hang out with these guys.
"Dang Josh she's in a shower right now if you want to join, I don't think it will be a cold one though," Andrew says laughing. Great, they are never going to let this go.
"Hahaha. Very funny." I mumble and look back down at my food. There's not much left in the bowl, making my decision to leave the two idiots I call my brothers easier. I take the leftover milk in my bowl and dump it down the sink and I set the bowl in the sink not looking up at Sam or Andrew. I can tell they have more comments to say about Lilly, but I don't want to hear them right now.
"You didn't leave any cereal left for me!" Andrew says as he shakes the empty cardboard box. His brown eyes narrowing at me, Sam smirking next to him, trying to hide his smile. I just shake my head and keep walking.
"Lilly's not going to let you in the shower, already tried," Andrew says, earning me to turn around. My eyebrows raise, looking at him in shock.
"Dude what?" I say, now fully taking him in. His smirk he was supporting this morning, his strut to the bowls while making fun of me. His lack of a shirt.
"Yeah, I had just finished showering when she walked in on me. Good thing I had a towel around my waist, Buddy's hard ya know. She was drooling though, so it might be hard for you to get in that shower when she already saw all this." Andrew said motioning to his whole body. My fists clench, I didn't even know I balled my hands up but now they are tight against my side. I can feel my eyes closing in on him. How easy it would be to take his neck and put it in a chokehold. I've done it before, it's not that hard. God, what does any girl see in this cocky bastard? No way Lilly would fall for that.
Right as I'm about to take a step towards him I get interrupted stopping me in my tracks.
"Are you two done yet?" Sam says looking unamused down at his cereal. His head slowly raises, giving Andrew and I an unapproving look. "Like really boys we have school in 20 minutes, find someone to beat up there."
He gets up on his feet two and walks toward me, eyeing my fists and tense body.
"Dude let it go, we've all seen you take him." And with that Sam motions for me to follow him up the stairs to get dressed. I eye Andrew one last time as he sits there with a spoon in hand and a glare in his eyes. Mouth in a frown as he slowly moves his cereal around again.
When Sam and I reach Peyton's room we hear the hall shower going and the voices of the rest of our friends in his room. I quickly look towards the locked bathroom door as we pass it, and I slowly step into Peyton's room. Not ready for any of the events that are going to happen today.
