To say that Arhur is not happy is the understatement of the year. His face is covered in mud, he feels dizzy and naseous. And on top of that his dress got dirty... Oh lord, he did not just think that. If anyone back home saw him he would jump of that cliff any day. Morgauses teleportation magic or spell or whatever has got him face plaster in the mud in and he was not happy about it. He is currently washing his mud plastered face on a nearby clearing where a river is flowing throughas soon as they arrived well more like him landing face first in the mud while his adversary softly landed on her feet, he got to meet up with thr floor of their destination . Morgause is watching Arthur from the sidelines with an amused expression on her face. She had to snicker at him, to see the great king of Camelot picking himself up cursing and trying hard to stand up from the slippery ground and all that in A DRESS. Yes to say that Morgause is amused to least is pretty much the second understatement of the year. If she could hold this moment forever, like in some sort of device where se can replay it over and over again. Wow that would be great for the posterity " KING ARTHUR ON HIS LEGENDARY QUEST TO FIND THE RIGHT SHOES FITTING FOR HIS DRESS." that would be a lie of course but what they won't know won't hurt them. Anyway as endearing as this moment is, they got to move and get there before sunset. " princess when you are done with your mud face mask, we should be on our way." if looks could kill Morgause would have died for a second time in her lifetime. He tries to standup but always step on the foot of his dress resulting in him being a merlin wich literaly translate to him tripping and falling. " how do you women even walk in this or get anything done." he voices now standing on his two feet dusting himself off. " well princess, you finally got a tiny taste of how it's like being a woman. Now stop being a princess and let's get moving" Morgause responds heartily as she walks on ahead. She can feel his glare on the back of her neck, she only smirks at that and keeps walking ahead. " you know, you should keep reminding me why i stil didn't run my sword through" He shouts as he walks after her. The stroll towards their destination left Arthur in worse mood then ever. Why you ask because first he still kept trippinng over his own dress and second Morgause was laughing and having alot of fun on his side .......too much fun. As they kept walking Arthur couldn't help but wonder, this Morgause is different.vastly different. He could tell. Heck he could even say that she became like his half-sister well before she turned all evil. Her knack of palyfullness, the way she speaks with void of any ill intent. And her laughing and giggling like any good hearted woman he knows. This isn't the Morgause he fought countless times, nor is she the one the was bent on revenge and driven by hatred. Almost like a complete turm around of the person she was. There is possibility that it's all just an act but seeing his current predicament he can't fantom why she would do all of this. Other possibility is that the woman walking ahead isn't Morgause at all, just someone who looks like her. Or transformed into her. He would have to test that theory. And last but not least is that she truly turned a new leaf, he was still suspicious of her evidently but he can't but help to feel a tug at his heart that he should give her chance, i mean dying propably has that effect on people. Right? " if you are done with muling and doubting me , get over here. We have arrived." she says simply looking ahead. Arthur juts nods, who can blame him for doubting her and swiftly catches up to her as quickly as he could seen his dress up wich is quite not that easy he must say. He stands next huffing and breathing somewhat heavily. " remind me to never and i mean never to wear such a thing ever again. I would rather wear my armor and work out hours without pause."She just rolls her eyes at him and shakes her head. Men. He looks at her and turns his head to where she is laying her eyes upon. His eyes widen and he lashes out " you said druids camp! Not a whole damn village!". Not reacting to his outburst she replies " did i? When did i say that? I can't recal. Anyway man up princess. what's the difference camp village it's all the same anyway." she claps him on his back and moves ahead. The king liked her better when she wasn't all buddy with him. " did i already mention that i liked you better when you were trying to kill us" he shouts after her. How many is that now. He keeps shouting after like a whiny little girl. He shakes his head slaps himself and puffs up his chest. He needs to get to the bottom of this of everything. So he promised to be quiete for the rest of their trip. As they got closer to the village and Arthur already noticed that there are no men in sight, only women crossed his eye path. Suddenly a realization hits him, he has no idea why they are there in the first place. The promised he made not too long ago will be put on hold. Can you even do that he ponder but what the hell, he is a king to hell with that. So he taps her shoulder to get her attention " can you already tell me why we are here in the first place" she just ignores him and observes the well guarded entrance to the the village looking for any escape if something were to go wrong. And knowing her companion the chances of something going wrong is high. She eyes from the corner of her eyes noticing him cursing and steadying his dress. Yep pretty high. " well princess it seems we will have to see how good your act is as woman. We will be needing your best perfomance." she says slightly amused trying hard not to crack feeling her humoristic senses being tickled. Arthur shakes his head and retreats back ignoring her remark. " i am not going anywhere untill you tell me what we are doing here, i know being all mysterious on a quest can be endearing and make you look all great but i want answers and i want them now." he rants finishing by staring directly into her eyes. She contemplates her options, letting him the dark is going to be a pain in the ass later on. But he can't know everything...yet. So she will give him just one sginifac piece of inforamtion. " very well then princess, we are here because of our sister. She is on the brink of leaving this world and we are here to look for a way to save her." she explains straightforward giving no details whatsoever. She turns back on her heels and walks off letting him digest everything. What did she say? They are here to save....Morgana? Morgana as in Camelot number one enemy. As is the woman he grew up with feeling a brotherly love for her before even knowing thath they are siblings, that Morgana?? she is .....dying? and Morgause came to him to ask for help. He needs a moment, everything today has been well simply put...weird.....and he doesn't know how to handle the news. Morgana, his half-sister is going to die but with his help they can save her, apparently. Did he want to save her, he literally was waging war against her. A day ago they were about to have their final battle. But now he is supposed to save her. It would have been better to just let her die. For the sake of camelot and his people. But here he is with Morgause going into an female village where magic is practised, and that all in a dress. This must be a dream after all. Yep, it can't be any other way. He slaps himself HARD. He feels the stinging on his cheek , thus not a dream. He closes his eyes and thinks seriously for a moment, suddenly the dragon voice rings through his ears. He needs to join forces with Morgana to defeat a greater evil. So it's his sister and Morgause that he needs to join forces with. He purses his lips and swallows a lump of air. He has done alot of thinking today but that will stop. He has made his decision. He will save his sister! Because that is who he is and they will need each other if the dragon and Morgause are telling the truth. He straightens uo his dress and makes a beeline towards where Morgause is hiding. " so you have made your decision i see, took you long enough. I thought i needed to beat some sense into you. Well here goes nothing. After you princess" Morgause says mockingly bowing down and raising her left arm to indicate the way. Arthur just grunts at her and stalks ahead. Arriving at the entrance his come face to face with his first ordeal. Two guards standing at the gate. Heavily armored just like Morgause the first time they met. Trying hard to aviod their eyes and etting caught he sways his hips left to right looking like a drunk with no direction. Morgause who is walking right behind behind him has to mentally facepalm herself. Oh boy. The female guards making eye contact with each other , one of them raising her eyebrow at the other. Arthur completely oblivious to the situation just keeps on making a fool of himself. Before the guards can approach The royal idiot Morgause interjects " i am sorry she has been through alot, she is not well and has been drinking not too long. And she she hasn'rt sobered up yet." the female guard having a blank expression on her face replies " i see, is she with you?" Morgause just nods softly and responds " yea, i am all she has left after a raid took everyting from her. I stumbled upon on her on my journey to the safe heaven for us lost druid women. And we heard of this place. We have been together ever since." lying is as easy as breathing to Morgause, to get what she wants. She can easily slither her way through anything and brainwash anyone just be making up things. She thought of it as a gift but too bad she had to die first to see all her wrongdoings. She now realises it's more of a curse. And by the looks of it she has convinced her. " well it's been hard for all of us lately, enjoy your stay miss. And don't lose hope. You will find your place here. Everyone does" the guards says in a gentle tone as she relaxes her tense stature. Morgause just smiles back at her and hurries after Arthur grabbing him by his arm and pulling him along. The other doesn't look as convinced and keeps her eyes on them. " let's go we need to move faster" morgause whispers feeling the woman staring on the back of her head. " did we get caught?" he says in a manly voice. Everyone stands still and look at them. Why did she think this is a good idea, she wants to slap her past self. Well plan b it is then she pulls him closer and whispers in his ear " lǣte galdor ālimpe" Morgause chants as her eyes turn golden. Arthur feels a power surge trough his dress. He lets out a squeek and grabs his throat. His voice became that of a woman, more high-pitched and having lost its raspiness. He looks over at Morgause wanting to lash out. She however reacts fast and shuts his mouth wiht her hand " i am sorry ladies but my friend has alot to drink and it makes her behave like her lover that got caught cheating" she says sweetly in a lighthearted way. Lying is really one of her strongest weapon. How can she make something up on the spot and make it sound so believable. He is impressed. Very impressed. Like sister like sister he thinks bitterly. His mood worsening only makes the lie even more believable , they all give her (him) an apolegetic look and go tend to their own bussinesses. " you could have blown our disguise so i cast a spell to make you more feminine. Now zip it and follow me quietly" she whisper orders him not giving time te reply as she pulls him towards a certain place. Arthur does not fancy being pulled and ordered around like that but seeing as to he has no choice. But to comply. Looking around he really only sees women, from young to old. He thought she was exagerating or she meant something along the way women are the one leading but no. Practically dragging him across the village street with him occasionally bumping into other pedestrians and her being evading them with ease wich makes him an easier target. He has got to say, he has been to a druid camp before but only to save Morgana from their clutches. The village itself isn't anything special, just your ordinary everyday village. Some houses here and there. A street connecting them all. It is however in a remotely deserted place deep in the forest. Arthur doesn't even know where exactly he has been transported to. For all he knows he could be at the end of the world. It does look like that though, he had a good viewpoint on the place from where they landed. A village in the middle of nowhere. Trees as far as his eyes can see. Alomst blind to the eye, almost like it doesn't want to be found. The people or more like the women that inhabit this village all seem to have go through some suffering. How do you ask he knows well it's plastered on all their faces, having going through a great deal he concludes. A sudden feeling swells up inside him, a feeling of....guilt? Why would he be having this feeling. It's not like its his fault, they chose to be this way and practise magic, on top of that magic is evil. Besides he doesn't attack people with magic unless being threatened. Still... he can't help but feel a tid bit responsible for their suffering. " are you done with your feeling sorry for our kind." Morgause says with a bitter tone. " what? No... i wasn't, I mean I didnt...." Arthur tries to come up with the right but tevergeefs. " what's done is done. Our kind have done wrong... me included but so has yours. it's the path we forged together" and with that she leaves him staring at the back of her head as she is still pulling him. After a few minutes they finally arrive at the place they are supposed to be. Morgause looks at the tent up ahead and takes in a deep breath. She is about to enter when a voice calls out to her " Morgause, what a surprise to seeing you again." the voice happily muses in a cheerful tone. Morgause stands still her body completely frozen, she would recognize that voice through thousands. Arthur doesn't know what to do and by Morgause reaction it isn't someone friendly or someone good willed. He narrows his eyes at her as he takes a step forward standing between her and the woman who she shares a sister with . Morgause is quite shocked to say the least. Arthur is surprised by himself but doesn't ponder it. it just feels right to do it in this moment. The High Priestess regaining her composure puts a assuring hand on Arthurs shoulder and walks forward. " hello mother" She says in a monotonous voice. Arthurs world spirals out of common sense. That woman looks the same age as them if not even younger and " MOTHER??" Arthur yells out still in his high pitched voice.
