The traces of the cold winter starts to fade away as March struts in, hitting the humans with the usual; trees blooming, pollen allergens dying and the spring's cleanup. In a little city in Kagoshima (a prefecture in Japan, about the southest one) is the spring already in full going; The streets and neighbourhoods are eventfully welcoming the warmth of the sun, the salesmen are happily scutting around as their crops are starting to grow, the florists can finally get fresh flowers and above all, the children can play outside with shorts and thin layers of shirts. The aura itself revolving around a specific area immediately changes, even if the humans in it might not be conscious about it (though it would be oblivious to not take notice in the fact that everything opens up in the spring).
The spring is the highlight of the year for many, and the main reason being that after the cold, depressing winter a relieving hint of the sun can bring up their whole mood. Schools finally end, many graduate thus March could be called the month of relief.
But today, the not-so-happy (y/n) is sitting in her room with a deprived face. Though the birds are singing happily, she cannot relate to them and cannot comprehend what is so special and awesome.
Singing for what, exactly? Dumb fricken birds.
She stands up from her position on the bed and closes the window. At this point of the year, she would usually celebrate with her friends, having finished another year of school. But this time it's different. Heavily different.
You see, not too many weeks ago she got the news that her family would move away, and she did not react as the parents had hoped. Although she got into a very prestigious academy in the new city with a distance-test, she wasn't happy at all. In fact, (y/n) became on a new level of rage that she had never experienced before, resulting in multiple breakdowns and her venting on evenings about how everything felt like shit while drowning herself with pies, cakes, cookies and other sweets.
They tell you to keep going until you see the light of the tunnel, but she was not opening her eyes. Simply put, she couldn't for a minute see any possible positive outcome of moving away and she started to grieve even before, what she calls it, the disaster.

The girl sits down on her bed once again and glances over her room, filled with moving boxes piled upon each other.
It really is happening, huh.
She slams her back and heads onto her bed while grunting. Her comfortable bed, that had stood there for many years always being her safe place. Low strings of music hit her ears from a speaker laying beside her. A depressing song plays over and over again. As she stares up in the ceiling she forgets time, life and her surroundings. Her body twitches as she starts to think. The moment a person calmly processes, thinks and observes things from several perspectives rather than what they themselves get out of it, that person becomes much more reliable and easier to deal with. The trait of being able to calm yourself to be able to focus on reality is a gift and a very great one. Even having the moral to think that you need to open your view makes a person more aware of their surroundings. But in some cases, too much of a blunt brain and heart can make a person seem like they are missing emotions. Not being able to relate to people's feelings truly is the opposite of a blessing.
A sudden calmness soothes thorough her body, starting from her heart and sparkling out to her fingertips. The wind outside, which before seemed to aggressively dunk into the window, calmly carries on. The top of the trees outside her house follow the wind like an orchestra, slightly leaning in its direction.
In her head, every anger and frustration slowly dies away. She comes to the realisation of the current situation, there is nothing she can further do. Her parents cannot decline the offer for new jobs which could earn them fortunes, and even several insurances paid. She blushes as she realizes her past lack of humbleness.
Her change of heart and emotion warms her. Although she is a very negative person she can now see the light of the tunnel, simply by trying to see it from another perspective.
The time goes on and as she continues to relax to the music with her eyes closed. For a brief moment, she feels positive about moving. She would have to leave her friends, but there are always ways to see them again. Memories from the city and her life until now flashes through her mind.
Maybe a new start can be interesting... And if things happen to get too bad, I can still move schools, right? And this place will always stand here, and I have my friends' social medias... I should be okay! Totally!
Her woke thoughts fade away as she falls asleep on her bed, still with clothes on.
The sunset stares right at her through her window, comforting her in its embrace. It paints the room in a rose-dusted tint, among with the rest of the small city. A city which she would leave in 2 days.
