Chapter 1: Introduction

A/N This is something I've been wanting to write for a long time so here I go.

Jesy's POV

I walk in the door and out my camera bag on its hook, finding Claude on the couch with Perrie on his lap asleep, with Jade and Leigh sitting by his feet on the floor, leaning against the couch. "What's going on here? It's never this quiet.", I whisper. "Well Pez needed a nap, and these two just like physical contact so they joined me while I was watching tv.", he answers back rubbing both girls heads. I nod and walk into the kitchen, grabbing an apple, and walking back into the lounge to join Claude on the couch. We sit in a comfortable silence until Perrie wakes up crying lightly.

"What's the matter bubs?", I asks playing with her hair. Claude passes her over to me after she starts making grabby hands to me. "Leigh, Jade. Go take a nap.", he says pointing at their shared "cage". It's basically a really big puppy play pen with a mattress and blankets with enough room for the both of them to move around in. They make no objections as they crawl in and lay down. "I'm gonna go shower. Also your package came.", he says walking upstairs. I see the package he was talking about and get excited.

"I've been waiting weeks for this phone case.", I say holding Perrie so I could bend down and grab it. "You want the bubble wrap?", I asks handing it to her. She squeals before giggling and trying to pop it. I laugh and open the box to reveal my black and gold customized phone case. "I paid forty bucks for this thing. It better work.", I mutter. I take my old and dirty phone case off and use the cleaning wipe it supplies.

"This isn't too bad. It looks good.", I say looking at Perrie. She takes my old case off the couch and starts to chew on it. "No Perrie. Don't put that in your mouth.",I say pulling it out. She whines before trying to grab it again, making me pull it away causing her to whine more. I grab one of the pacifiers off of the table and push it in her mouth. She lays her head on my shoulder, and I turn the tv to Disney and scroll through my phone as she watches lion king. After a while, Claude comes down the stairs in a new outfit.

"Looks like it's gonna be a chill day. All three girls are behaving themselves.", he says sitting next to me. "Yep and I couldn't be more thankful. I have a huge client this week and I don't feel like going to work with a headache.", I say. "Oh you haven't told me about that. So how big are we talking? Like a prom or what?", he asks. "It's a run way project. Remember that Layla girl. Well she's a model and her manager booked me as the photographer for the next fashion show.", I say.

"Jesy I'm going to be completely honest with you, you need to get laid.", he says bluntly. "Where did that come from? We went from talking about my job to talking about my sex life.", I say chuckling. "Yeah, your nonexistent one. I'm serious girl. You need to get some. When's the last time you brought a girl home?", he says raising an eyebrow. "A week ago. Just because you're not here, doesn't mean it didn't happen.", I say smirking at the shocked look on his face. "You disgust me and inspire me at the same time.", he says putting a hand to his chest.

"I try.", I say laughing. "You're too much,I swear", he says walking into the kitchen. I feel Perrie's gentle breathing on my neck and look over to see that she's fallen asleep. I pick her up off my shoulder and lay her down on the couch, making sure to lay her head on a pillow. I tuck her penguin plush toy under her arm and watch as she snuggles it closer to her face. I hear noises and look over to see Leigh eating some of her dry cereal.

"Leigh come here.", I say. She turns back to me with cereal dust on her face and crawls towards me. "Did you and Jade get baths today?", I question running my fingers through her hair. She nods her head no and flinches back. "It's alright I'm not gonna hit you. I was just asking.", I say rubbing her back. Leigh's previous owner wasn't the best of people. He was very abusive and didn't treat her right. I remember when Claude and I first got her. Should wouldn't even leave our sides unless we told her to.
