Jesy's POV

It's a weekday meaning I have to work. "Claude are you sure you don't want me to take one of them with me? It won't be too much.", I say. "Jesy I'm fine. I do this all the time, plus how hard can it be?", he says pushing me out the door. "Wait I need to grab my camera bag.", I say biting into an apple. He hands it to me and pushes me out the door towards the car. I unlock it before getting inside and driving to work.

Jesy's POV

When I walk in the door, I see my boss sitting at the front bench. "Ms.Nelson, just who I was looking for.", she says coming towards me. "Hi Ms.Wilson. May I ask why you were looking for me? Not to be rude or anything, and I'm going to shut up now.", I say stopping myself from rambling. "Come to my office with me. I have to talk to you.", she says walking away. I bite my lip and follow her as I try to think of things that I did that would make her want to talk to me privately.

She holds the door open for me and I give her a smile as I walk in and sit down. "I'm pretty sure you're quite nervous right now. But I'll assure you now that it's all good news.", she says sitting down behind her desk. I don't say anything as I look at her. "You've been working here for the past four years, and you are very dedicated to your work from what I could tell. You went from a coffee fetching intern to a very respected photographer. With that being said, I'd like you to take a look at the off days you have stored up.",she says getting straight to the point.

"Is there a problem?", I question confused. "You have a good three years worth of sick days, holiday days, and just regular off days. According to management, you're required to take a few days off at least once a year. They say that you're being over worked, and are requiring that I send you home for a month so you can relax.", she finishes. "Well if that's a rule I guess I have to follow it.", I say looking up at her. She smiles before standing up and opening the door for me to walk out of.

"What was that about Jes?", one of my coworkers asks me. "She wants me to go home because I have to many off days. So I'll see you in a month Lisa.", I say facing her. The Thai girl sweeps her bangs out of her face before giving me one of her big smiles.

"That sounds awesome. Se you later then.", she replies. I go to pack up my things, when I get a call from Claude. "What's up?", I answer pressing my phone between my ear and shoulder. "Help me please. Perrie won't stop crying, Leigh and Jade got sick somehow. I don't know what to do.", he says.
"Uh there's cough medicine in the bathroom cabinet. Perrie didn't have dinner last night so she's probably hungry, just give her some dry cereal or something. But don't worry I'm coming home soon actually.", I say. "Oh that's nice. I could sure use the help.", he answers. "Leigh won't take the medicine. What do I do now?", he questions. "You know how she feels about talking medicine, she thinks she's getting drugged. What flavor is the medicine?", I ask. "It says apple.", he answers.

"Taste it to make sure. If it actually tastes like apple, mix it into the apple juice we have in the fridge and give it to her.", I say. "Yeah it actually tastes pretty good.", he says. "Good, mix it into the juice and let her drink that.", I say before hanging up. As I'm packing my stuff up into the car, I get a text. I take a sip of water as I text Claude back. "She took it and now she's falling asleep. Thanks for the tip.", is what Claude texts me. "Depending on the medicine you gave them, they need to take more every three hours.", I reply.

Claude's POV

I look down at Leigh's sleeping form and sigh. I lay her down on the couch and walk into the kitchen to find Jade in a blanket cocoon, curled up on the floor. "What are you doing? You're supposed to be in bed.", I say putting her upright. "I wanted some tea, but I tripped, and my blanket cocoon broke my fall.", she answers in a hoarse whisper. I guide her to the other couch and lay her down before walking back into the kitchen to make her tea. "Seeing as you came from upstairs, is Perrie still asleep?", I ask handing it to her. "I think so, I didn't hear anything when I walked past.", she answers before taking a sip. "Not enough sugar.", she says putting the cup back in my hands. I grab two more teaspoons of sugar and dump them in before taking it back to her.
