Chapter 8: Leigh Week- Setup

Claude's POV

Jesy and I had been thinking for a while now of what to do for Leigh. Jade got to go to a Disney convention, Perrie got a play date sleepover that turned into multiple days since Ash ended up breaking his wrist and ankle , then there's just Leigh-Anne being her calm self. "But what does she like? The girl would be happy sitting in the dark for gods sake.", Jesy says writing something on a piece of paper. "I mean, she really likes Rihanna. We could get her some posters, vinyls, and all that. But that's not much is it, compared to what the other girls got?", I say with a sigh. "She's so grateful for everything and doesn't cause any trouble. It'd only be fair to do something for her as big and great as she is.", she answers. "What's going on in here?", Perrie questions walking in. "Nothing important. Claude is helping me find some new lighting suggestions with my lights. Just writing down some ideas.", Jesy answers.

"Oh well, I was coming to ask if I go out with some friends tonight?", Perrie asks. "Where exactly are you going?", I ask turning back to the papers. "A few friends wanted to go check out a new museum exhibit. It's dinosaur fossils and they just found a femur. The brontosaurus they have is finally completed and I really wanna see it.", she answers. "Go ahead. It's noon right now, we want you back by at the maximum, four thirty.", Jesy says. "Thank you! Love you lots.", Perrie calls out. "Alright. I'm thinking theme park?", she suggests. "Her anxiety will be triggered. Too many people, and the loud stuff will scare her.", I say remembering the first time we had taken the girls out. "You're right. I have nothing.", she groans putting her head in her hands.

"Why is this so hard? The girl is entertained by a stuffed taco.", I say. Jade walks in a few minutes later with a bowl of chips before laying down on the couch and turning the tv on. "Why don't we ask Jade? The two are practically inseparable.", I say. "Jadey. Come here for a second.", Jesy says. The younger girl puts her snack down before walking over to us. "We need you to answer a question for us. If Leigh could have one thing in the world, what would it be?", I ask. She looks off into space for a second, probably thinking before turning back to us. "I don't really know. She doesn't talk about stuff she wants. She'd rather give people what they want instead of the other way around.", she answers making me sigh.

"But, I do know that she's been staring at her journal with a sad face for a few weeks now. There's probably something important coming up for her and she can't do it.", she adds. "What's happening in a few days or is about to happen?", I question to myself. "Her anniversary with Derek. We got her three months after she got there, and she'd been with Derek for three years. That day just happened to be their third anniversary.", Jesy gasps. "I know what we should do. It's multiple things though.", I say standing up. "Jade, how would you feel about spending a few nights at my moms house?", Jesy looking over to her. " I love spending time with Janice.", she answers with a smile.

"She's been needing help in her garden. Don't know why she still has it.", Jesy says. "I'll go start packing.", Jade says walking back up the stairs. "Alright, I was thinking we could give her a whole week to do whatever she wants. We could get her all the small gifts we talked about and then whatever else she wanted.", I say smiling at my idea. "That's brilliant. That way, we can't do anything wrong.", she says tapping my shoulder excitedly. "I'll go get started on trying to find the posters.", I say getting up.

Jesy's POV

I watch as Claude leaves the room before Jade comes back down with a medium sized duffle bag. "Do you have everything?", I ask knowing that she might've skipped some stuff. "Clothes, jackets, underwear, hair ties, toothbrush. I think that's about it.", she answers counting off on her fingers. "You don't have Ruben it sounds like. We both know that you need him.", I say. "You're right. I'll be back.", she says as she comes to sit her bag down. "While you're up there you think you could pack Perrie's bag as well? I would ask her to do it once she gets back but knowing her she'll put it off until the last minute and forget everything.", I say. "No problem. Want me to do Leigh's as well? She's asleep and I don't wanna wake her.", she answers. "No that's alright. Claude and I are keeping her with us.", I say.
