Chapter 9: Leigh Week-Day 1

Leigh's POV

I get woken up at some time around five thirty in the morning to two smiling care takers with an outfit picked out for me. "Good morning. Today is the first day of your super fun, extra fantastic, amazingly great week.", Claude says pulling me up. I mumble something that not even I could make out before taking the clothes and walking into the bathroom to shower. Coming back out, I see them in the kitchen with multiple boxes of something sitting on the table. "To start of this fantabulous day, we got you a little something something.", Jesy says pushing the boxes towards me. I take the box cutter the Claude handed me and look at it confused. "Why did you give me this?", I question.

"She hasn't had her coffee yet, better not give her any dangerous objects.", Jesy says taking it from my hand. I walk over to the coffee maker and start making my morning brew. "Ok come and open them.", Claude says pushing the towards me. I open the tube looking one first and get met with a picture of Rihanna. I look at it confused before unrolling it and seeing a full body bikini shot of my idol. I stare at it with a opened mouth before drool starts to fall out making Jesy spring forward to catch it with a towel. "You got me a Rihanna poster?", I question. "Posters.", Claude corrects as he hands me two more.

I quickly pop off the top cap and unroll it and see her in the work music video. "Last one.", Jesy says handing it to me. I quickly unroll it and stare at her incredible waist line. "I love them.", I say hugging the rolled up posters into my chest. "Ok you've got a few more things.", Claude says. He hands me a medium sized box and I open it before looking at multiple vinyl covers. "Holy sweet biscuits.", I say. "Then last box.", they say together handing it to me. I open it and take out the neatly folded hoodies. "I love it guys. Thank you.", I say pulling them into a tight hug. "That's not all. Today is the start of Leigh week. So in honor of that, we're going downtown.", Jesy cheers.

They hand me my jacket and we all pile into the car. Buildings go past making me become more excited as time passes. I start bouncing in my seat without realizing. "Calm down. The cars gonna start scraping on the road if you keep bouncing like that.", Claude laughs. "I'm excited.", I say letting the window down. "So today, we're gonna go downtown and let you get whatever you want. Is that fun?", Jesy says. "Where are we going first?", I ask. "We were thinking we could start off on the pier walk and just keep moving from there.", Claude answers pulling into a parking space. We all get out and walk through the shopping pier.

I take Jesy's hand and look through all the shop windows until I see something that I've been wanting for a while. I contemplate asking for it before deciding to just say screw it and go for it. I tug on her sleeve and point to the shop. "Let's go in. You're calling the shots today Leigh, we'll do whatever you want.", she assures pulling me in the door. I look around before finding what I pointed at. "I love these little electric balls. They're so cool, and they come in different colors.", Claude says tucking it under his arm. I find a large pug plush and hand it to Jesy. I walk around the store for a few more minutes and don't see anything else that peaks my interest.

"All done in this store?", Claude asks turning to me. I nod and he walks up to the front to pay as Jesy and I step out. "You doing ok? I know being in shops for a long times a bit much for you.", she says stroking my cheek. I sigh and shake my head and place my hand on top of hers to keep the touch. "Onto the next shop.", Claude smiles handing me the bags. The next store happens to be a toy store and I find myself in toy heaven. I walk through the isle with a light grip on Jesy's hand as I skim through isles before coming upon the fidget toys. I tug her shirt to get her attention and point to them. "Which ones do you want?", she asks. I shrug and start playing with the rest me ones. "You don't like noises so these ones are out.", she says pointing to the end ones.

I nod and start looking through more displays. "What about this Rubik's cube? You like those don't you?", she suggests handing it to me. I play with it for a few seconds before nodding my head and putting it in her hands. "I think you'd also like the infinity cubes.", she says holding it up. I look at the green squares before reaching for them. "I didn't think you'd be this excited. You can keep looking through things you may want, I'm gonna check out the stuff to stop nail biting.", she chuckles. She goes it little further down in the isle but still stays in my sight line. "Hey. You find anything?", Claude asks coming up behind me. I show him everything that we've gotten so far and he nods.

"I found a stuffy heaven and I wanted to show you.", he says taking my hand. "I'm going with Claude.", I say to Jesy. She holds up a thumb and I let him pull me away. It is quite literally stuffy heaven, it has it's own part of the store. I search around and find a dragon that I want and put it in Claude's hands. "This the only one you want?", he asks. I nod and we move back to Jesy. "I think we're all done here.", Claude says taking the other things from my arms. "Alright, you two can keep going, I'll pay here.", she says shooing us away. Claude and I walk down the pier some more until we come up on a sweets shop. I look up at him and he grins. "You don't even have to ask.", he smiles pulling me in.

I walk around the shop letting all the delicious scents pull me in different directions until I find the chocolate covered cookies. I grab four and put them in one of the bags before moving to the next thing. Giant gummy bears. Bigger than I've ever seen before, it could last someone months with proper preservation. I grab it and tuck it under my arm and move on to the gummy worms. I know Jesy won't let me go too crazy with the sweets so I have to choose wisely. I decide that I won't spent all of our time in this store and pick out a few more things before moving on to Claude. "Is this everything?", he asks. I nod and he brings it to the counter to pay.

Once we get out the store, we see Jesy on the phone. "Is she? She's never like that. Just give her a bit of warm milk and she'll be fine.", she smiles before hanging up. "All done?", she asks. I look around the pier and spot a chew store. As weird as it sounds, it's just a store that sells chew things.

Jesy's POV

She all but drags Claude over to the chew shop making me shake my head and laugh before following behind them. Leigh prefers more of a softer but firm chew while Jade likes more textured chew. "I want this.", she says picking up something. "If you want it let's get it.", I shrug. We walk around for a few more minutes and she doesn't spot anything else that catches her eye so we leave. "I'm hungry.", she mumbles looking at her shoes. "I've got dinner.", Claude whispers to me. "You wanna have nachos for dinner?", I ask. She nods her head and I let out a small chuckle as we walk back to the car.

She buckles herself in and Claude and I climb in the front. "To get nachos here we come.", he jokes driving out of the parking lot. We drive until we reach Leigh's favorite place to get nachos from. After getting dinner, we head home. "Did you enjoy today Leigh?", I question as we eat. She nods with a smile and starts stuffing her face with food. "You'll choke if you keep inhaling nachos like that.", Claude says looking over at her. He and I are both surprised when we see her with an empty tray licking the cheese off her fingers. "It always amazes me how fast she eats nachos.", Claude says still staring at her.

"When you love a food, it's easy to eat it too fast. Like you and your weird toffee grape obsession.", I say with a shrug. "I'm not obsessed. I just prefer it over food sometimes.", he says folding his arms. I laugh at his antics and shake my head. "You're such a dork.", I say. "I've been one since middle school.", he shrugs. We end the night watching movies of Leigh's choice and making jokes.

A/N: I'm gonna try to update this book more frequently but at the top is Leigh and Jade's room. I don't know why I put it but I did.
