The New Prefect And Pumpkin Juice

Lily and Hugo were now starting their 3rd year at Hogwarts, Lily and Hugo still hated Malfoy and he still hated them.

Lily still remembers her first year after the pig nose incident when Malfoy had somehow switched her potion imgredients with maggots. Lily still asks Hugo to open her potions ingredients bag for her.

Lily and Malfoy were always at each other, getting on each others nerves.

It was now the first day of term, Lily and Hugo had charms first. The whole time while Pr.Flitwick was talking - which was quite boring - Lily was thinking about Quidditch and how she would finally be able to try out as seeker for the Gryfinfor team.

Lily imagined herself gliding through the air on her nimbus 2032. Lily always loved the feeling of riding a broom, it was magical- literaly.

Lily was daydreaming about soaring through the sky when she heard Pr.Flitwicks voice.

"Miss Potter can you tell me the proper spell to repair a broken door?"

Lily shot up. "Oh, uh, yes proffeser. Repario door."

"Very well. Class, I would like a diagram of how to properly hold your wand when  preforming and repairing charm for tomorrows class. You may be dismissed." finished Pr.Flitwick.

After eating lunch in the Great Hall, Lily and Hugo went outside and sat near the lake with there backs to an old beachwood tree.

"Hey Hugo were you taking notes during charms by any chance, because I had no idea what was going on." Lily asked hugo who was getting started on their charms diagram.

"Yeah, here you go Lily but you should really pay more attention in class." Hugo told Lily handing her his notes.

"I really can't wait untill quidditch tryouts!" Lily said exitedly.

"Yeah I know you've  been talking about it aaall summer." said Hugo in a annoyed voice.

Lily had been talking about quidditch all summer. Albus was already a chaser on the Slytherin team. Hugo was going to tryout for keeper but was very nervous about after hearing about how when his father, Ron Weasley, was keeper a bunch of Slytherins, including Draco Malfoy had made up a song about how he couldn't protect the goal post. The song was called " Weasley is our king".

Lily went back to her charms diagram. It was a cool september day, the chilly wind blew in Lily and Hugo's face.

Lily heard voices and laughter from her left. It was the scamander twins and Malfoy. Lily buried her face in her charms book, so that she wouldnt be seen by them. Lily caught a glimps of the trio slumped down against a tree to her and Hugos left.

Lily had always wonderd why the scamander twins were friends with malfoy, the scamander twins could be annoying sometimes but they were really nice most of the time. Malfoy on the other hand was always mean. Although Malfoy had stopped bothering Ablus and Rose. In fact Malfoy had stopped bothering lots of people. Execept Lily and Hugo.

Although he had stopped bothering others Lily could still sometimes catch him instulting students behinde their backs.

Lily went back to her charms diagram. Again she was inturuped by Malfoy's smug voice.

"What should I do to potter next? Should I tell everyone she's half troll?"

What was that no good foul beast thinking? Thought Lily.

"Now instead of telling lies, lets tell everyone about how your face is actually dragon dung with a horible paint job." ringed Lilys voice.

The scamander twins started to snigger. Malfoys smirk faded into a scowl.

"You know what Potter? How about you mind your own stupid business and don't evesdrop?" Malfoy called through gritted teeth.

"Well I would but it's kinda hard because your voice is so utterly loud and stupid its hard not to notice it's stupidness!" Bellowed Lily as she got to her feet and pulled out her wand, but before she could say a word Malfoy shot up with his wand pointed at Lily and his free hand pointing to his prefects badge.

"I wouldn't  do what your thinking of doing if I was you!" Said Malfoy with an evil smirk still point at his prefect badge.

Lily got to her senses and motioned for Hugo who was also on his feet with his wand out, to leave.

Later that day, Hugo, Rose, and Lily were now in the Great hall eating dinner at the Gryfindor table.

"You know," started Hugo,to Lily and Rose. "Pr. Tinsle, the defense agaisnt dark arts teacher seems to be acting weird latley. What do you reckon is wrong with her?" Hugo asked with is mouth full of mashed potatoes.

Rose looked up from her Transfiguration book and spoke. "Okay, first of all DONT SPEAK WITH YOUR MOUTH FULL, its disgusting. And second of all, she's probaly going through some stress due to the fact the ministry asigned a new textbook for her to teach from because her old one was 'out of date' and shes probaly having trouble with it because shes used to the old one." Finished Rose.

Just then Malfoy walked in with a bunch of giggling girls. Malfoy was very 'popular'. Lily didnt know why. He was just a stupid dung head to her.

As Malfoy walked past the Gryfindor table, Lily- forgeting Malfoy was a prefect-, stuck out her leg and tripped him. The Grear Hall roard with laughter from the surrounding students.

"What the hell Potter, you stupid troll!"  yelled Malfoy as he took a cup of pumpkin juice from the Gryfindor table and dumped it on Lilys head.

"You. Little. Stupid. DUNG HEAD!" Lily yelled as she threw a fist full of mashed potatoe at his front. 

"YOU BLOODY COW!" Bellowed Malfoy as her took a bowl of pudding and threw the continents at Lily. Then Pr.McGonagalls voice rang through the great hall.

"Enough! Both of you, 20 points from Gryfindor and Slytherin! And a whole week of detention! Now clean up this mess!"

"But Pr., she started it!" Protested Malfoy.

"I do not CARE who started it. Both of you should be ashamed of yourselves! Especialy you Scorpius, if you continue this kind of behavior I'm  afraid i will need to take away your prefect badge! Now clean UP!" And with that Pr.McGonagall stormed off, her face flushed.

Great, just great. Lily thought as shescraped peices of mash potatoes off the Great Hall floor.

I have detention with the troll with dung for a brain. Merlins beard!
