Lily walked along the quite, deserted corridor. It was chilly due to the fires that lit the long corrdiors were out.

Lily longed to be in the warm Gryffindor common room with Hugo. Instead she was awaiting her punishment for her ignorant forgetfullness.

She didn't regret it.

If Lily hadn't forgotten, she wouldn't have become the Gryfindor seeker. Something Lily had been aching for ever since she could first fit on a broom, to become seeker for whatever house she was in, at Hogwarts- which she desperately hoped to be Gryffindor.

Lily still had butterflies in her stomach from winning the spot as Gryffindor seeker. Nothing could put her into a bad mood. Exept maybe, detention.

Lily kept walking in the dark corrdior. Suddenly she heard a noise. Like someone whispering a spell. Lily looked around her. She saw what looked like a tall figure standing infront of the headmisstres office.

Lily put her back against the wall closest to her. The whispering got more and more desperate. Lily couldn't make out what the voice was saying.
Lily heard footsteps coming her way. It was McGonagall and Malfoy. She looked back at the headmistresses office door and saw what looked like the tall figure hurrying away.
Lily looked back at the headmistress and Malfoy and hurried herself toward the headmistress office door, wondering whether she should say something or not but decided she was already in enough trouble. She didn't want McGonagall to think she was fibbing.
Once McGonagall and Malfoy came  McGonagall whispered something that sounded like gibberish and the doors opened revealing a beautiful spiralling staircase. "Wow." Was all Lily could manage as they climbed up the staircase.
Once they got to the office Lily realized the entrance was just the beginning, the office was spectacular, there were shelves full of beautiful objects Lily couldn't name, furniture Lily couldn't dream of sitting on and so many books Lily could keep herself busy for a lifetime. But what caught Lilys attention was the rows of portraits hanging above professor.MacGonagalls desk. Each one was framed from a beautiful golden material carved with detailed designs. But that wasn't all that Lily found interesting, the portraits were moving as if alive. Of course Lilly was used to portraits being so animated but she never saw portraits of people she's heard so much about. She scanned the faces look for one she knew of.
"Enough waiting around sit!" said McGonagall. They both sat down awkwardly and awaited their sentencing. Lily peeked a look at Scorpius. His face was red, and so was her own.
"Starting tomorrow you will both attended detention, this will include cleaning and extra work. This will go on for two weeks. If any of you are late by even a millisecond it will cost an extra day of detention." Exclaimed the Headmistress. They both sat in silence.
"Both of you wait here while I get something, don't move one bit and absolutely under no circumstances touch anything, do you understand?" Said the Headmistress.
"Yes." They both managed to choke.
McGonagall walked out of the office and closed the door on her way out.
"Look at the bloody mess you've gotten us into!" Complained scorpius.
"We wouldn't be in this mess if you weren't such a prick!" Called back Lily annoyed. Suddenly they heard a dark voice "will you two imbeciles stop bickering, I am trying to sleep!" Both Lily and scorpius looked up to see a headmaster portrait that seemed to had just woken up. He looked familiar, then lily realized that it who he was. She had seen his picture many times in books about the wizarding war. The mans greasy black hair and beady black eyes belonged to no other than Severus Snape. "Your Severus Snape aren't you sir?" Began Lily. "My older brother is named after you, well his middle name that is"
The portrait looked at her and his face looked as though he was he wasn't sure if he was dreaming or not. "Lily?" Asked the greasy haired man. "Yes?" Replied Lily, wondering how he had known her name. "But no it couldn't be." He muttered the portrait shaking his head. Scorpius looked at the portrait and back at Lily confused. "Look at me child let me see your eyes." Said the portrait desperately. Lily then understood what was happening, he thought that she was her grandmother. She knew of how Severus Snape had been in love with her grandmother Lily long ago. "Oh no" said Lily gently, not wanting to sadden him. "I'm Lily Potter, Harry potters daughter. See I have brown eyes" Lily opened her eyes wide and pointed to them. The portrait looked closely and then slumped low saddened. Lily felt bad but she knew he was only an image of Severus Snape, the real Severus Snape was dead. Scorpius looked at both of them with questioning look on his face, still confused. Lily looked down at her hands awkwardly in silence.
Soon enough Professor.McGonagall came back holding a mop and broom. Lily looked at scorpius scornfully knowing what they had to do next...
