a week later you asked me to see a movie with you and i agreed to go. we bought popcorn and shared a drink, you looked so pretty when the screen lit your face up i couldn't help but admire you. i remember when your hand reached for mine. our hands fit together like they were shaped for each other. the movie was done and over with and our parents were on the way. it was a cool night, you could smell the april showers in the air. it was quiet between us until you asked me a question that would change my life,
"kenma do you want to be my boyfriend"
those seven words took the wind out of me and made my heart beat like crazy. without meeting your eyes i responded,
"that would be nice"
and you just chuckled and then you asked a question that made my breathe stop,
"does that mean i get my kiss now"
our first kiss was under the flickering lights of the movie theater and that was when i knew that i wanted you in my life forever and always.
