chapter 12

Sweet divide, a heavy truth

Camila's pov:

I was out with Taylor and Hailee, Taylor called in a girls day so we went to the spa. I remember when we told the group we we were dating all of them were really happy but Taylor went crazy, she started jumping and clapping like a little girl , she hugged us so tight that I thought I might die.

In the afternoon Taylor insisted that girls day would be incomplete without shopping, I didn't mind because I had to purchase something for Shawn's birthday which was just in a week and I was still confused how to plan it but I knew one thing that I wanted to make it special.

I didn't know what to get him but as I looked at the instrument shop nearby, I remembered how about a month ago he told me he liked to play guitar and I asked him to play something but his guitar condition wasn't good. I knew how much music meant to him, so I decided this would be the perfect gift.

It was 6 in the evening now and it was just me and Taylor now as Hailee had a work emergency.

"So camila will you be my maid of honor?"
"Wow, realy..yes." I said as I hugged Taylor. Sometimes it suprises me how our friendship after all these years is still the same as it used to be in college. She's a part of my family and I know I'm her too.

Shawn's pov:

It had been a month since Camila and I had gone on a date. I know she prefers spending time with me at home instead of putting on a show and going out, but I wanted to make her feel special so I decided to plan a date at home. I made her favourite chicken nugget and pinneapple pizza which is kind of weird but we both love it anyway.

I set the food on the table, poured two glasses of wine and lit some lavender scented candles.

Camila came in to see the living room lit up with small candles.
"Woah! What is this for Shawn." She went towards his direction about to kiss him but she stopped and smiled.
"Oh my god is this chicken nuggets I'm smelling."
Shawn just took the lid off the plate and smiled at her.

She was about to sit next to him but changed her mind and sat on his lap instead, he just chuckled. She leaned in and presses her lips against his in a soft kiss. She smiled into the kiss.

"Wow you're seriously the best, I don't even know if I deserve someone like you." She said looking in his eyes smiling brightly at him.
"Oh don't even start now, you deserve much better than me."
"Not even a bit true." She said.
"If that's not true than what you said was bullshit." She pouted at him. He leaned in and kissed her lips sweetly and she blushed.

"Oh someone's blushing" Shawn teased her.
"Shut up! I'm not blushing." She said hiding her face in the crook of his neck.
" Come one let's have dinner now."

Camila was ecstatic when she saw that Shawn had made pineapple pizza too. She remembered how happy she was when he told her he liked pinneapple on pizza too because whenever she told someone she liked pinneapple on pizza everyone thought it was gross.

"Oh my god! This is so so good Shawn." Camila said as she ate the chicken nuggets.

After dinner they talked about their day mostly Camila did because Shawn was just alone at home the whole day. She told him how Taylor asked her to be her maid of honor. She told him that she liked Hailee, she was sweet.

After talking for sometime, they decided to watch a couple of episodes of friends and call it a night.
They were watching the episode ,"the one where everyone knows" it was a hilarious episode but Camila didn't paid much attention to it. She didn't knew why but she couldn't take her eyes off of Shawn.

'They don't know that we know that they know that we know' Phoebe had said.
Shawn rolled his head back in laughter, and it was as if something triggered inside her watching him laugh.
"Shawn"
"Yes babe" Shawn said looking at her.

"I love you" Camila couldn't believe she'd said those words but at the same time she could, she could because it was Shawn and Shawn was different.

Shawn looked at her, not a single flicker of uncertainty in her eyes. He smiled at her lovingly and pulled her in for a passionate yet sweet kiss.
"I love you too so fucking much"

A/N: I'll post again in some hours! Also I love Shawn and Camila but seriously they like pinneapple on pizza in irl for me that's gross!!!
