Jasper and Tye stood in a suffocating silence both barely daring to breath.
"What just happened?" Jasper asked, voice barely more than a whisper.
"I don't know." Tye admitted.
A little sparkle caught Tye's eye. Against her better judgment she tentatively walked towards it.
A bright white laminated business card with the words "The Wonderland" written in a light metallic purple had been dropped on the ground.
"Jasper come look at this."
In a second Jasper was beside her, looking down at the little piece of plastic.
"The white hat bastard must have dropped it." he says picking it up.
Jasper turns the card over and begins to read the back.
"Plague what do you think this is, why would anyone need this?"
Tye shrugged just as confused as Jasper.
"Maybe Omega could get us some information if we get her to look at it." Tye suggests.
Jasper sighs disheartedly.
"This means more running doesn't it?"
As a response, Tye begins running down the main road passing the flickering streetlights and shady alleyways.
The overall trip took them around an hour, having to stop a few times so Jasper didn't fall over in exhaustion.
The moment The Wolves estate came into view, Tye felt like her legs would give out, her being ready to collapse and call it a night right there on the side of the road.
A worried Omega was surveying the road, head frantically looking for her missing friends. The moment they caught a glimpse of Tye, she brought her into a bone crushing hug.
Tye melted into the hug, tiered legs giving out as she let Omega support most of her weight. They had witnessed a massacre, almost been killed twice, and Tye just wanted to sleep.
There was something comforting about Omega's big frame, it was like Tye couldn't be hurt while she was with the strong woman.
"Are you alright Plague? You look sick." Omega stated worriedly.
Tye grimaced tiredly, remembered she had a mask on, and gave a slow thumbs up.
"Too much stuff happened, I need to sleep." as if to emphasize her point, Tye yawned behind her mask.
Omega nodded.
"Both of you need to sleep. We can talk about what happened tonight another time. Come on I'll carry you, you too Jasper."
At this point neither of them cared about their image as they were thrown over Omega's shoulders like sacks of potatoes.
Omega was over six foot standing a little over a head taller than Jasper while Tye only went up to her shoulder. Out of the three of them she was the oldest, acting as a mother figure and making sure the other's didn't blow something up, not that it usually worked.
She carried them through darkened halls of the estate, everything turning into a blurring blob of color and noise for her two tired companions.
They didn't even notice Omega putting them in spare beds in one of the dormitories before they drifted off into a deep sleep.

Tye wandered through a mist filled forest, the trees towered overhead, clawed branches reaching for the heavens.
