Epilogue

I stared at my reflection in the mirror.

I couldn’t believe that I was getting married to Kat.

We waited for that day for three years.

MY mom stood behind me. “You look beautiful, sweetheart.”

Lily and Danny stood on either side of my smiling. Lily was my maid of honor, wearing a red dress and holding a white rose, and Danny was a bridesmaid, wearing a black tux with a red vest and tie carrying a white rose also.

“I can’t believe you’re getting married, Sam,” Lily said as she handed me my roses, one red and one white.

“I can’t either.” I smiled.

My dad came into the room. “It’s almost time, Sam.”

“I’m coming, daddy.”

I took one last look at my dress. The fabric clung to my bust and waist but flowed out at my hips. It wasn’t mermaid style. It had a sweet heart neck line. The sleeves started just below my shoulders and all the way down my arms; the fabric was entirely lace.

“Come on, Sam. It’s time.”

I linked my arm through my dad’s as he guided me out of the dressing room.

Lily walked down the aisle followed by Danny.

“Here Comes the Bride” started to play.

I sucked in a deep breath and held tightly to my dad as he walked me down the aisle.

Kat stood at the end of the aisle wearing a white tux with a red tie and red vest. She chose to wear a tux, but she looked beautiful regardless.

When we reached the end of the aisle, my dad handed me over to Kat. He kissed my cheek and took his seat on the front row.

“Dearly beloved…” The priest began.

I stood holding Kat’s hand tightly.

We turned to face each other and recited out vows.

“Do you Katherine Danielle Kelly take Samantha Nichole Hayden to be your lawfully wedded wife to have and to hold, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do you part?”

“I do,” Kat said with tears in her eyes.

“Do you Samantha Nichole Hayden take Katherine Danielle Kelly to be your lawfully wedded wife to have and to hold, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do you part?”

“I do,” I said with tears already running down my face.

“I now pronounce you wife and wife,” he looked at Kat, “You may kiss your bride.”

I jumped into her arms and forced my lips onto hers.

Everybody cheered.

Every day, month, and year from then on, Kat and I were legally married. We had two beautiful children. And as cliché as it sounds, We Lived Happily Ever After.

THE END

A/n: I didn't know what to put for the "I now pronounce you" part so don't laugh if it doesn't make sense. I'm sorry that this part was short :( But be glad that adm and Kat lived happily ever after.

Much love, Erika <3
