Chapter 18

Avneet

A few weeks have passed and I haven't spoken to Siddharth since what happened in the cafeteria.

I am on Oxford Street, where the races take place, I am with Riyaz.

Riyaz guided me to a place where there were several boys smoking.

"Hi guys," he greeted them.

"Hi, you were lost," said a boy with brown hair and tattoos.

"The important thing is that I'm back," said Riyaz.

"Good luck," said another boy.

"She is Avneet," Riyaz said pointing to me.

"Not that she was Siddharth's girl?" A boy commented.

"I'm not anyone's girl." --I said

"Well, that's not what is being said around here." the boy said

"I don't care what is said around here." --I said

"You have claws," said a girl.

I looked at them and then I left there.

"I am so sorry for my friends, Avneet," Riyaz told me.

"It's ok, no problem," I said

He took me to a club near the running track, and the music was great.

"Take this," Riyaz told me, passing me a slightly pink drink.

"Thanks," I said.

I took it and felt my throat burn

- Do you want another? Riyaz asked me.

-Yes. -I told

I had had a few drinks and was feeling a little dizzy.

Siddharth

I was at the club near the running track and I saw Riyaz with Avneet.I approached them and noticed that Avneet seemed a little drunk.

"What did you do to her Riyaz?" - I asked him

-Nothing. -he replied

I looked at Avneet and he was reeling a little.

"I hope you didn't drug her," I said.

"She is not yours Siddharth," he said.

"Exactly," Avneet said to me as she pointed at me

"You're not going to hurt her, and don't go near her again, because you know what I can do to you," I warned him.

-You are in love with her? Riyaz asked me.

"You are an idiot," I said.

I carried Avneet on my shoulders and got out of there with her.

I just hope she's not drugged

I went to where the boys were and asked Faisu for the car to borrow and he accepted.

I got Avneet into the car and <I made sure to put her seatbelt on.

Avneet

I felt a little dizzy, but I started to feel good.

We got to Siddharth's house and he helped me getting out of the car.

We entered the house, and he helped me go up the stairs to his room.

Till now he didn't said even a single word.

-What's going on? I said breaking the ice.

He turned to see me and concentrated on taking off his shoes.

"Siddharth, why are you like this?"

"For you Avneet, that's why I'm like this," he said angrily.

"And now what did I do to you?" --I asked

"You've spent these past few days making me jealous," he said.

-What? --I asked him

"I told you I liked you, and you just thought it was a game." I told you that you were causing things in me, you knew that but you went with Riyaz. -he told me

"And now I'm the culprit? You were the one who kissed another in the cafeteria, after saying that you liked me." --I told

"SHE kissed me." - he said giving strength to the word "she"

"Are you really going to use that stupid excuse of" It's not my fault it's hers "? ...-" I said

"I'm sorry I'm not your perfect type." --he told me

"No you are not, I think you have exceeded my expectations Siddharth Nigam." --I replied...
