Wow! What an extraordinary journey writing my first fanfic has been! In this moment, I am completely overwhelmed with so much love and gratitude for each and every one of you who have taken time to read this story.
I became an ARMY in May 2019, and I when I discovered fan-fiction and Wattpad at the end of last year, I had no idea how much something so seemingly small could have such a profound impact on my life. I have always loved reading and writing, but the more I read stories about the guys, the more I fell in love with them... and with the idea of writing my own story.
I simply wanted to write a fun, sexy, romantic, drama-free story that you could have as your escape from real life whenever you wanted to read some good smut and fangirl over Tae and all of his hotness. I never planned to write any more stories after this one.
I also never expected for this story to grow so rapidly. I have pretty much been blown away every week since January 19th when I posted my first chapter by the amount of love that has been shown to this story. And I'm still amazed by what it has accomplished in less than six months... 27.5k reads at this moment and counting.
50 Shades of Tae was inspired by so many other amazing writers in this community, and a few of them, I even have the privilege to call friends now. I never expected to meet so many beautiful, amazing people, especially ARMYs, who understand and share my crazy love for BTS.
So to all the awesome ladies who I've had the pleasure to connect with and share this writing journey with... thank you for being you and thank you for sharing your gifts with the world. You may never know how much joy you bring to the lives of others, including mine, but I want you to know that you matter, and what you are contributing to this world matters.
Keep going, keep shining, keep doing you, and never, ever dull your sparkle or hide your beautiful creativity from the world. Fuck the haters, the naysayers, and the copycats because I know many of us have them. They may try, but they can never stop us unless we allow them to. Always remember that!
And last, but certainly not least, a very special, heartfelt thank you to all of my readers. You guys are some of the funniest, freakiest, most amazing people I've every known. Your comments have made me laugh, cry, and sometimes even speechless, but most importantly, they have made me want to keep writing, doing my best for you, and bringing my A game with every chapter. I really hope I've made you proud.
The insane amount of love and kind words I have received from all of you... sometimes I feel that there are no words to express my love and appreciation for them. All I can do is say I thank you, and that is why I've said it so much throughout the story. I almost considered not writing this because I thought you may be tired of hearing it by now. But I had to write it because I feel like I could never say thank you enough.
So, once again, thank you from the very bottom of my heart for taking the time to read, vote, and comment. I love you more than you'll ever know.
