New York...
Once in the operating theatre the OB team quickly scanned to check the baby, though it looked fine, it's heart rate was too slow "This baby needs to come out now!" She said. "Okay" Doctor Owens replied as he and his team stepped aside and the rest started prepared for an emergency c-section. Within ten minutes baby girl Lindsay was born but she didn't make a sound, they needed to clear her aways, then rushed her up to NICU, where she was put on some oxygen and heart monitors to make sure all her levels evened out. After the C-Section was complete they heard a long beep from the monitors. They all rushed over and Dr Owens started compressions "give her around of epi and get the crash cart NOW" he says. Grabbing the paddles he shouts "Charge to 200... Clear" before shocking Erin, but there was still nothing. "Another round of epi... charge to 200... Clear" then they heard a beep beep beep. Dr Owens sighed with relief "okay let's get in there and fix her up so she can hold that baby girl". He said as they got to work.

Agent West's POV
Arriving at the hospital I ran into the reception "Hi I'm looking for Erin Lindsay" I said to the lady behind the desk. "Are you family?" She asked. "No I'm her boss, her family are heading in from Chicago, they wont be hear for another couple of hours". "Okay I'll take you to the waiting room, a nurse will be by soon." I nodded "Thanks". I was sat there for about 20 minutes then a nurse finally came in. "Hey I'm Rachel" she said holding her hand out. "Chandra" I said shaking it. "So Erin went into surgery about half an hour ago, they are having to repair a fracture to the leg, 6 severely broken ribs and it looked as though one had nicked the lung causing it to deflate" She explained. I gasped, shocked by the severity of her injuries. Then I remembered, "The baby, how's the baby?". "They had to perform an emergency c-section as the babies heart rate was too low, once born she was rushed up to NICU where they are monitoring her, I will pop back when I have any news on either of them". She shook my hand again then left the waiting room. With that I headed to get coffee and called the rest of the team.

At the airport...
Hank's POV
The flight over was quiet. I felt sick with worry, my daughter and grandchild are both lying in hospital. I still hadn't told Jay about the child. I couldn't before I didn't know what his reaction would be and I had to make sure he got on this flight. We got off the plane rushing to collect our luggage, and headed outside. "Jay before we go any further there's something I need to tell you".
Jay's POV
"Wait, Erin's pregnant?" I said I could feel the colour drain from my face. "And you're sure it's mine?" I asked. He nodded "Yes Jay, she's 7 months along". Oh my god I'm a dad I thought.. I have a child with the woman I love the most in this world. I bent over holding my chest, my heart felt like it was going to beat through it. I felt Voight put his hand on my shoulder "Come on" he said "We need to get to the hospital". So we jumped in the taxi and left the airport. Still in shock I put my head in my hands as tears began to fall. I just couldn't believe it, why didn't she call me? I could have been there for her instead she went through it all alone. Was she even going to tell me? The questions just kept on going. As we arrived at the hospital I got out the taxi and tried to straighten myself out a bit. Wiping my face with my jacket I grabbed my luggage where we was met by Agent West. After the introductions we made our way to the waiting room.
