Annie was in space on the planet that Galactus called home. The planet was up in ashes. Annie could sense the danger from miles away. She ran as fast as she could. She ran up a hill and saw something that was terrible. She saw Galactus on the ground and an alien of some sort stood above him. This alien had dreadlocks that looked like slimy snakes. His skin was a dark blue with highlights of a mucky shade of green and dark purple. He wore armor that was green and purple and while he looked like an alien, he had the face of a human.
"So Galactus," the creatures voice was the thing of nightmares and sent chills down Annie's spine. "You created me and yet you have not realized my potential, my strength, and sadly that is bad news for you. I have finally gathered the last of the cosmic spheres and my power is fuller and stronger than yours is. Your little protective shield on earth can't even get within a mile of seeing me before I wipe her out. And once I obtain your power, I will have the strongest power throughout the entire universe. And you know that you can't reincarnate after I do that. Goodbye creator." The alien stuck a massive blade up to Galactus's neck and then decapitated him. He then drew out a massive amount of energy from Galactus and the energy formed an orb. "Next, is the stone wielder." The alien said and then he slowly raised his head and then very gradually turned his head towards Annie. The alien looked beyond angry and it sent a massive amount of energy at Annie and everything turned to black.
Annie sat strait up in her bed and screamed. She looked around and Quentin was beside her. He woke up and started to try and calm her down. Suddenly a child who was 6 years old walked into the room and went over to Annie. Annie saw her and calmed down. The girl crawled up into her bed.
"Are you ok mommy?" The little girl asked.
"I'm fine Ash." Annie sighed a she picked the little girl up and carried her. Annie walked down to the little girls room and went inside. She walked over to the little girls bed and sat her down.
"Can't I sleep in your bed mommy?" The little girl asked.
"Ash we talked about this. Your at the age where you can't sleep in mommy and daddy's bed every night." Annie sighed.
"But you seemed so scared, maybe I can help you." The little girl said.
"Ashley May Quire, you slept in our bed twice this week, you know the rules. Tonight you gotta sleep in your bed. I'm ok. You don't have to worry about me." Annie was stern but she still had a loving tone to her voice.
"Ok." Little Ash sighed and then she got under the covers and laid down. Annie kissed her on the forehead.
"I love you little dove." Annie said and Ash smiled.
"I love you too mommy." Ash yawned.
"Goodnight baby." Annie said as she got up.
"Night." Ash replied and Annie walked out of the room and found Clint waiting for her outside.
"We heard a scream. Everything ok?" Clint asked.
"Yes." Annie lied as she grabbed Clint by the wrist and guided him down the hallway. Annie then turned to him. "I didn't want to scare Ash. I need you to get everybody up. We need to have an Avengers meeting." Clint looked worried.
"Why?" Clint asked.
"That threat I started sensing 7 years ago," Annie sighed nervously and Clint nodded. "It's coming." Annie finished her statement and Clint saw how nervous Annie was.
