Lauren (Mom's) POV.
I am still in shock and disbelief that my husband and son are gone. I had a dream about them, they said they are okay up there in heaven. Doctor Annie came in to see me this morning and told me that I am getting discharged today!
An hour or so later my beautiful daughter came to see me. She was being pushed in her wheelchair by the music therapist that works at the hospital, but I don't see his ID badge anymore... hmmm... I know my daughter and by the way she is looking had him, she is in love!
They come closer to my bed and Violet handed me my discharge papers! "We are free Mom!!!" Chance moved next to my baby girl, held her hand and said "I know you don't know me very well, but Violet and I have spent a lot of time together throughout her recovery and we have fallen in love ma'am; with your blessing we would like to date outside of the hospital!" "I love her and I would never hurt her!"
As I looked at them together I could see how happy he made my daughter, yes you two love birds have my blessing! I said to them. "Mom, if you are okay with it Chance would like to take care of us at home as our nurse but also be there to support me as my boyfriend!?!" Violet asked me with the biggest smile on her face!
"He also quit his job here so we could be together!" she added. How could I say no? I thought to myself. "I guess it's okay with me..." I said to both of them in reply. "Now lets get out of here!" we all said at the same time!
