Lauren's POV.
Once Justin (my nurse) got me dressed and ready to take on the day, Chance asked me if we could talk in private and of course I said yes... I know in my gut that he is going to ask for my permission to marry my wonderful daughter! I'm so glad Violet and Chance have found each other!
Chance's POV.
I followed Lauren to the guest bedroom (that was originally going to be my bedroom when I was supposed to be a caregiver for both Violet and Lauren) to talk. As we walked there my nerves got the best of me... and I sweat through yet anther button- down shirt...
Lauren sat across from me in an armchair and I do so myself. I nervously tap my foot on the floor, and say "L-L-L Lauren as you know, Violet and I have gotten very close throughout her recovery and I-I-I love her and I can't picture my life without her. I have asked you to talk in private because with your blessing, it would be my honour to marry her!!
Lauren's POV
Oh Chance, of course you have my blessing! I haven't seen my daughter this happy in her entire life! I can tell that you love all of her and the fact that you don't mind also being her caregiver shows me that you can have a wonderful life together and I won't have to worry about her wellbeing! You are her prince, thank you for showing my daughter what it's like to be truly loved!
