Violet's POV
Fast forward (at the hospital)
When we reached the hospital my mom had met me there with my wheelchair. Then she left and continued looking for Chance. I made my way to Mitch's room and shortly after the doctor came in and asked me if I had a minute to talk, I had a horrible feeling in my gut. Something was wrong, I really wasn't excepting what was about to happen next. "Hi, Violet is it?" "I'm doctor Sam. Unfortunately I've noticed a spot on Mitch's CT scan. It looks to be a brain tumor." "Oh my goodness, so your telling me that this brain tumor is what's causing all of these aggressive and erratic behaviors lately? Is that right?"I said in reply.
I don't know what to think or how to feel. I hope Mitch recovers quickly... I will come back and check on him later. I know one thing for sure, I'm not leaving Chance. Right now I need to focus on finding him. I'm trying to think of a place that only he and I would know. Then it dawned on me... my old hospital room, where we first felt a spark! I realize that he has the opportunity to go after Mitch but I know in my heart that he will choose to be the bigger person. As I make my way to my old hospital room, I start to experience flashbacks of after the accident. Even though those memories hurt I try my best to ignore them and get to Chance.
Finally I reach the door; I peak my head into the room only to find the love of my life lying in what used to be my hospital bed. Crying... uncontrollably... I push the door open slowly, his beautiful hazel eyes lock with mine.
Chance's POV
"H-h-hey b-baby, I knneeww you'd finnd meeeee." I got up out of bed, picked Violet up out of her wheelchair and gently put her into the bed. Then I crawled into bed next to her... she pulled a little notebook out of the pocket of her dress, told me to close my eyes. "I wrote you a little note. It's not my vows, just something I wrote this morning thinking about this day..." "Chance, my music man, my prince today's the day! A day I never thought would come. After my accident I never thought I would find someone who helps me to feel whole again!" I can't help looking at her with now happy tears in my eyes. "No need to keep going my love." I said to her as I could tell by her breathing she was getting tired. "You have me forever and always.... You know that!" I kissed her neck, looked into her beautiful brown eyes and said "I wanna run away and make you my wife in my favourite place...There's a cabin in the woods where my family and I used to spend summers!" "I'll run away with you any day my music man... let's go! She said in reply.
