I arrive at the church with 5 minutes to spare! I put my chair into what felt like hyperdrive, "let's go mom I know you can run faster in those heels!" After what felt like forever it was finally my moment, the day every little girl dreams of! "Hello handsome I thought to myself as I saw Chance standing at the alter" "he's all yours my mom whispers to me as tears begin to well up in my eyes." here I go...
Mitch's POV
I still can barely believe I'm here. "what am I doing. I feel foolish, I thought to myself as everyone began to stand. "Well I guess I should stand too, my brain finally deciding now to take back over." "Great now I start thinking logically.." and just as I thought things couldn't get any more emotional, I turned around to see a real live angel. My legs begin to shake and my heart starts pounding, it's as if the floor was about to fall from underneath me. My whole world just turned upside down, as finally, I see Violet coming down the aisle. I began to feel my heart growing in size and in all of my years of medical school and work I can't even find one probable diagnosis. Just as I am racing through to figure out if I'm having a heart attack, my brain is switched back onto autopilot and I whisper in a quiet hum "love.. i- I'm in love" "hush" the woman beside me whispers. I pull my heart back into my chest and just stare at Violet, hoping that she waltzes by unknowingly, we make eye contact. I swear upon that single moment I could see all the galaxies of stars in her eyes, everyone else in the room disappeared, It was just simply her and I.. time had finally stopped and along with it my heart. "I can't live without her.." I whisper quietly in my head. It was then that I made my decision that I was going to go through with my insane plan... I'm going to stop this wedding.
