Death of Me

Chapter 8

I follow Lux to the library. But then I saw the breathtaking girl with light blue hair but what I didn't see last time is has huge black wings hung behind her and she is talking to someone who works here. Then she looks at the books.

I leave Lux and stand by the girl looking at the books. "I know you see them" she says with her smooth voice while looking behind her. I nod "I'm Emily" I said she smiles with her perfect white teeth, "I'm Esther. You're looking for something too? That's why you haven't moved on yet." She says and I nod "Follow Me." She says walking and I watch her wings drag as she walks they are very huge.

We walk to the park and sit on a bench. "You see that girl over there with the short brown hair?" Esther asks "yea." I reply "She has cancer and is going to die in a few days." Esther says looking down "How do you know that?" I ask "Because Ryker is here." She says pointing at the guy that sat next to me on the bus with his white hair. But he also has huge wings but they were white. "He is the angel of of death. He comes to see you a few days before you die so he can tell the dark spirit who to expect to take to the golden gate or to the poison river."

"Why is his wings white and yours black?" I asked.  Esther looked sad "Because i'm a fallen angel." She says. "Why?" I ask. "I broke a rule of not taking a devil to heaven."

Ryker walks towards us. "I think I found something Esther and includes Emily." He says looking towards me. "Shall we take her to the records?" Esther asked Ryker smiled. They stretch out their wings which was so long. "Grab my waist." Said Ryker. I did and he wrapped his arm around me. I know if Jerry was here he wouldn't be happy about this. Then they flap their wings and we blast into the air. The wind flown right through my hair made me giggle. We were so high up and it was beautiful.  "Emily when you pass over you can fly when ever you want." Esther laughs.

We went to a cave. "You guys been murdered by the same person." Ryker told us. "That is impossible Derek is in hell." Esther says. "Wait you were murdered too?" I asked "yeah, we were at our hide out when he started pulling of my clothes and kissing me. I told him to stop but he didn't so I started screaming and he grabbed a pillow and suffocated me."

"So anyway I didn't get to visit a girl that died because she did suicide...." Started Ryker "London?" I ask "Yea and London was an easy target for a devil because she been thinking of suicide." "Where you going with this Ryker?" Asked Esther "Well London went to heaven. I think Derek made a deal with Satan that if he let's him live he will bring him back a girl. Emily could see her killer so he had to be human." "That doesn't mean it was Derek." Argued Esther "Was his eyes golden?" She asked me I nodded confused. What does his eyes have to do anything with this? "Devil eyes and you, London, and Emily all have something in common. You were all in love. So he gave London more suicidal thoughts so she would kill herself for Satan but she went to heaven so he needed a new girl. So he murdered Emily but she hasn't crossed over yet but when she does Satan will be ready in less we change this." Explained Ryker.
