Today is June 1 last week of school and the bell rang so everyone in home room jumped up cluching their things and rushing to the door. Out in the hall I saw Jerry waiting for me. I push through the crowded hallway to get to him. He hugs me tightly, make me feel save. He grips my hand moving his thumb up and down. He walks me to our bus and we sit in the uncomfortable bus sit that has holes and swear words on it. He wraps his arm around me pulling me closer.
When we get to his stop he gives me a note and kisses my check. I watch him walk in till the bus pulled off. I unfolded the note to read: meet me at the tree house xoxoxo. The tree house is in the back yard of abandoned house where me and Jerry meet. The house is in very bad conditions but the tree house is stunning.
It was raining and I was riding my bike from the bakery which where I work when my wheel got a hole I'm it. At that moment I saw a boy soaking wet from the rain. "Are you okay?" I asked "Not really" he reply then a crash of thunder frightened me and I jumped into his arms. He laugh and pulled me towards the abandoned house.
After I got home I did what the note said and rode my bike to the house and went to the back yard. He wasn't there yet I heard crunching of leaves behind me and I turned around to find no one there. I walk backwards a few steps and turn around and hear something in the bushes and I slowly walk toward the bushes and..."AHHHHHHH" I scream because Jerry leaps out the bushes and throwing me over his shoulders and throws me on the old trampoline that I wouldn't trust my weight on but Jerry jumps on tickleing me. I laugh in till my side hurmts and I can't breathe. These were the moments I miss the most. What I didn't know is something was wrong and something I never thought would happen was coming.
The next day I woke feeling sick and knew something about today wasn't right. Everything was quite not a peaceful quite but it was a creepy eary quite as if I was the last one on earth. But when I got to school everything was loud like everyday but then a scream broke through the crowd it was a red headed girl name Phebe crying hugging the cute gay guy James who was also crying. She falls to the ground sobbing and James runs to the bathroom as tears fall. A group of her friends hug her and comfort her. Their names are Sidney, Cait, Shelbie, June. June hugs Phebe and runs after James. I wonder what happen.
I feel someone grab my hand and I flinch but I see Jerry. "What happen?" I ask watching a teacher walk towards Phebe. "Not sure" The teacher talks to Phebe then Phebe follows her. Then Jerry and I walk towards I next class.
