Brave

Chapter 4

Slowly, she climbs up on a hill which is right before another lake. She wanders to the top of it to see a huge lake and around it mountains. She has no clue what day it is becuase she was swimming through the night. All she can see is smoke coming from a distance and what looks like to be a skyscrapper. Now Felica has a goal; get to the city before she dies. Luckily Brad packed food like M&M's, Skores, and more junk food. But even eating a single piece made her think of her dead BF who was 15 which made her feel proud for datting an older man.

As the night draws in Felica starts a fire and has some food and a bottle of the 6 bottles of water she has left.

"One down, five to go!" She mumbles to herself when throwing the bottle into the lake.

She knows littering is wrong but she is heart broken so she can take a rest for now.  Felica lays down by the fire with a towel rapped around her and a pillow under her head. She slowly drifts off to sleep.

"Brad, BRAD!" She cries out when walking around the lake.

"I'm over here!" He cries back when coming up from the water.

"I am so happy I decied to stay with you and the Sniperest decied not to shoot us!"

"I know baby! And I am happy that now we are the rulers of Earth and you stayed with me when I needed you most!"

"I can't wait to tell our kids this story."

"Same here! Now want to go finish what we started?"

"You know it!"

Slowly Brad kisses Felica then they walk slowly into their hut in the forest.

Felica wakes up with tears rolling down her red cheeks. She sits up and sees frost surrounding her.

"Frost in.. in SEPTEMBER!"

She knew the first frost was going to be in September but when she left it was July.

"I slept through 2 months!" She cries out when trying to save some of her heat.

"You all right down there?" A voice yells.

She looks up to see a heli copter.

"NO!" She yells back.

The world around her suddenly turns fuzzy and black. Then she passes out.
