Chapter 9: Time

—2nd POV—

You and Kakashi finally got out of the shower.

"So where are we going first? We have some time before I get my mission" you point out, Kakashi puts his mask back on, "Hmmm..." Kakashi thinks "I don't really know, how about we meet up with the others?" He suggests, "Sounds like a plan!" You agree, Kakashi smiles at you, you can see his smile under his mask.

You and Kakashi finish changing and head outside.

The sun's starting to rise over the horizon and the birds are starting to wake up and sing.

"It's nice outside..." Kakashi states, you look over to him and smile, "It's not nice, it's romantic!" You correct, Kakashi chuckles then looks over to you.

He removes his mask and kisses you, you blush at his action, "yup, it's romantic" Kakashi agrees, you chuckle a bit then grab his hand signaling him to walk with you, Kakashi accepts and comes with you holding your hand.

You and Kakashi begin walking around the village, "Do you know where we're going?" Kakashi asks, "Nope! No idea at all." You admit, a sweat drop goes down Kakashi's face, "The village has changed a lot since I left, you guys remodeled the village a lot since the nine tails attack" you explain.

You and Kakashi make it to a different part of the village, it's nearly outside the village.

"(Y/n)? This is the Uchiha clan..." Kakashi states, you look at Kakashi then back at the clan, "They really keep moving the Uchiha clan farther from the village.." you point out, Kakashi nods, you begin to smile a bit as an idea pops into your head, "Hey Kakashi, while we're here want to pay Itachi a visit?" You ask (Itachi is 12 in this story, he hasn't left yet).

Kakashi gives you a look of annoyance then sighs, "Alright fine, but Itachi's changed a lot since you left" Kakashi states, "well everyone has, it's been 5 years" you point out, Kakashi nods.

"Well if we pay a visit to him then let's get a gift!" You say, "sounds sensible" Kakashi agrees sounding annoyed, you look at Kakashi who's staring at the village.

"Don't Uchiha's love tomatoes?" You ask, "most of them do" Kakashi responds, "Then it's confirmed. I'm getting tomatoes" you declare.

Kakashi begins to laugh, "When you say it like that, it sounds like you're buying them as pets" Kakashi states, you start to chuckle.

You both share this moment together watching the sunrise next to the clan, you smile, Kakashi looks over to you then pulls you into his warm embrace.

You begin to hug him back then Kakashi lowers his mask and smooches you, "Kakashi!" You blush, Kakashi only chuckles, "You're so precious to me (Y/n)..." Kakashi says.

"And you're so precious to me Kakashi..." you respond, Kakashi's face lights up when you said that, "Okay let's hurry, I think I know a nearby store that sells good tomatoes" Kakashi states.

"I wouldn't expect you to know stores that sell tomatoes" you state, "You're more of a Saury person" you finish, Kakashi looks at you happy, "You still remember that" Kakashi says shocked but happy, "Well of course I do! I've known you since we were kids!" You respond.

Kakashi starts rustling your hair, "True, and you were always there for me (Y/n)" he reminds, you start to smile and blush a bit, "That's why I love you so much, because you were always there for me when I needed you most!" Kakashi finishes.

You hug him tight and start to tear up a bit, "Woah!- Was it something I said?" Kakashi asks concerned, you look up at him and smile, "I'm just so happy because I love you, but I never expected for you to feel the same" you state, he looks at you confused "What do you mean?" Kakashi asks, "First off, you always had a straight face as a kid, I could never tell what you were thinking" you explain.
