Ch 7: His House

Chapter 7

Ahsoka has never been so nervous before in her life. She knew how Rex felt when it came to meeting her parents. The feeling of butterflys and holes in your stomach. Knots twisting constantly.

"Soka why are you so nervous?" Rex asked. Ahsoka looked up to him and said "I just don't know what your brothers will say honestly". Rex smiled and pulled her into a hug. "They'll like you" he said. Thet didn't calm Ahsoka. She wanted to now why. "How do you know?" She asked. Rex stopped and pulled Ahsoka into a hug. He kissed her gently, "Because you make me happy" he said.

They kept walking for a while although to Ahsoka it felt like a long day, the longest day ever that was constant torture. She hadn't even talked about Rex's brothers with him alot, nor did she ask questions. It was one of those things that are mentioned and never brought up again despite wanting to know more.

Eventually they made it to Rex's house. It looked nice, the lawn was freshly cut, the bushes were still in their unique shapes. Everything looked neat and perfect.

Rex could see the shock on Ahsoka's face. He laughed and said "You'll have a different type of shock when you get inside. Ahsoka didn't know what he meant but she knew she was in for something.

Rex let go of Ahsoka's hand and moved a doormat. He picked up a key and unlocked the door. "Dont tell me you actually do that" Ahsoka said. Rex looked at her without expression. "Sometimes the simplest things work, we even got another key in a statue in the back" he said. Ahsoka rolled her eyes and followed Rex inside.

To his surprise the inside of the house was clean. "I thought you said I would be surpised" Ahsoka said. Rex walked over to the kitchen and placed his stuff down. He turned to Ahsoka and said "Its usually a mess, i have no clue why my brothers cleaned up". Rex walked over to the couch and turned on the TV.

Ahsoka kept looking around. It was almost like her house expect hers had way more decoration to it. "Where are your brothers?" She asked. Rex responded with "Im not sure, they must he gone".

Ahsoka walked up to the sliding door that leads to the backyard. It looked nice, Rex even had a trampoline. "If your hungry there is pizza rolls in the freezer" Rex said. Ahsoka walked over to Rex and gave him a kiss. "Sorry if i eat all of them" she said. Rex smiled and said "Knock yourself out".

Ahsoka made a plate of pizza rolls and sat down next to Rex. "Rexie if you live with your brothers, how do you guys have all of this stuff?" She asked.

Rex didnt respond for a minute, Ahsoka started to feel terrible for the personal question she asked. After a while Rex put arm around Ahsoka and said "Most of the furniture is from before my mom died, me and my brothers all have a job, or they do i don't anymore". Ahsoka seemed intrigued. "What happened with your job?" She asked. Rex kissed her monstral and said "I got fired for showing up drunk". To Ahsoka that seemed idiotic but for her Rex it seemed in the realm of possibility. Rex was something else sometimes. But no matter the stupid things Rex did, Ahsoka always found them funny and cute. "You better not lose your next job" she said. Rex looked at her and said "I don't plan to". He then kissed Ahsoka and picked her up. Ahsoka was shocked at first and let out a small squeel. "Where are we going?" She asked. Rex didn't respond. Instead he just carried her down the hall.

He walked into what Ahsoka understood was his room. The room was a mess compared to the rest of the house. "Sorry about the mess, haven't cleaned in a while" Rex said. Ahsoka giggled and got up. She walked over to shelves and looked at all of the trophies he had. It wasn't more than Ahsoka's but it was pretty close.

As Ahsoka was looking around she felt arms wrap around her waist. Warm lips  moved across her neck. "Rex what are you doing?" She asked. Rex didn't respond, instead he led Ahsoka over to his bed and layed down. By instinct Ahsoka got ontop of him. She didn't know what she was doing but it felt right. Ahsoka felt Rex's arms wrap around the back of her waist. She tilted her head down near Rex's and spoke soothingly. "Is this why you brought me in here?" She asked. Rex gave her a kiss and said "Not exactly, but I like the way its going". Ahsoka put her arms on the pillow above Rex's head and kissed him. The kiss seemed to last ages, slowly the kiss grew into something more. Rex slowly moved his hands into Ahsoka's hoodie and up her back.

Ahsoka stopped the kiss and layed her head on Rex's chest. She listened to his heartbeat slowly and matched hers with his. She felt something growing under her butt. Ahsoka grinned and said "Don't start something you can't finish Rexie". "What makes you think i can't finish it?" He asked. Ahsoka didn't respond, instead she continued to listen to Rex's heartbeat. She then moved off of Rex and to his side. She put her head on his chest and stayed still. "I'm tired Rexie" she said. "Me too Soka" said Rex.

They both layed quiet. Then they heard the front door open. Rex shot up from his bed and looked at Ahsoka. She was instantly nervous again. "Ready to go meet my brothers?" Rex asked. Ahsoka didn't respond she just gave Rex a nervous look.
