You smiled as you looked over at the monitor where your girlfriend Soojin was practicing for her stage with the other girls. (G)I-DLE recently came out with their new mini album, which meant a lot of promotion once again. Of course, this was their job, but that doesn't mean Soojin didn't miss you. About a week ago she was still crying over the phone, complaining about how much she misses you. You hadn't seen each other for at least a month now and it was taking its toll on the girl.
Soojin was always around you whenever she had no schedules, even going so far to join you at your work. So it was always hard for her to ease back into her schedules. Which is why you were sitting in their waiting room at Inkigayo, waiting for them to finish their rehearsal.
You had figured that the girls probably didn't have any time to eat anything nutritious before their performance, so you took some Kimbap with you to make sure they eat enough and don't get tired.
You were getting bored fast because of the waiting. You wondered how idols were able to do this every single day, sometimes not even for a reason because they weren't nominated for the number one spot. It baffled you, but maybe that was just because you were a very energetic person. You hated sitting around and doing nothing with all the time you have.
You got up from your spot on the small couch, and wandered out into the halls. Several other idols greeted you with a small as you passed by. You still remember the first time you were wandering around, everybody was looking at you like you had two head. But since then they all became used to your presence, they knew that where ever (G)I-DLE would perform, you would follow after them.
"Y/N!" You swiftly turned around as you heard your name being called behind you.
"Solar!" You shouted back as the girl basically rammed herself into you, almost knocking you down to the ground. Fortunately, you were able to keep yourself grounded.
You circled your arms around her waist and lifted her up from the ground, making her giggle. You put her down a few seconds after you lifted her up and looked at her with a huge smile on your face.
"I was looking for you as soon as I heard that (G)I-DLE would be performing here." She smiled at you.
"Wow, you know me so well Yongsun. It scares me sometimes." You held your hand over your heart as she chuckled and smacked your shoulder once.
"Shut up, you never called me again after that lunch date." She pouted at you.
"First of all, that wasn't a lunch date it was just a friendly hangout. Second of all, I've been really busy too you know." You quickly corrected her, not wanting anyone to get the wrong idea.
