Chapter 4

-MELODY-

We finally reached our destination which is Whiteacre. I heard dito raw nakatayo ang academy.

Pagkababa namin ng tren, nakita kong may mga karwahe ang sumalubong sa amin. Sumakay kami ni Vance sa isang karwahe na kaming dalawa lang. Yung design ng karwahe ay yun bang walang bubong. Nasa likod lang namin nakalagay ang mga maleta.

"Saan nagpunta yung guild na nakita natin kanina?" Tanong ko

"They used a teleportation portal. Tayong nga new students ay dapat nakasakay sa karwahe para sa welcoming parade." Vance

Napaka-attitude naman ng welcoming parade. Nang makasakay na ang lahat ng estudyante ay nakita naming inaabangan nga kami.

The people of this town is using their magic to make confetti fall from the sky. Ngayon alam ko na kung bakit ito tinatawag na welcoming parade.

"This happen every schoolyear. Our seniors are waiting in the academy." Vance

As soon as we arrived at the academy, bumungad naman samin ang mala-kastilyo nitong design. Nakakamangha ang ganda ng exterior ng academy.

Bumaba na kami sa mga karwahe namin. Dinala ko din yung maleta ko. It is quite big and heavy to some but for me, I can easily carry it.

May mga staff na nag-guide sa amin kung saan kami pupunta. We just followed the other students and I just found ourselves in a huge studio. Just like the ones in TV variety shows. Ang kaibahan lang nito ay mas malaki ito saka walang mga camera at microphone or any other things. There are only chairs and a podium doon sa stage. Nandito lang kami nakaupo sa mga upuan namin na parang audience lang. If I'm not mistaken, this is the academy's gymnasium.

Ilang saglit ay tumahimik ang lahat nang may nakaupo na sa mga upuan. They are probably teachers. But what caught my attention is a man in his 30's. I can feel his strong presence and authority which can make you shut up. He stood in the podium and began to speak.

"Before we begin, I would like to welcome the new students of Aozora Academy!" The man said saka narinig namin ang pakpakan ng mga estudyante na nakaupo sa magkabilang bleachers tas pumakpak na din kami. Bale kaming mga bago ay nasa baba at pinakasentro.

"To the new students I'm headmaster Ivan and I am looking forward to see your growth in the campus." He smiled

The silent ambiance earlier was then again felt. Kahit pa nakangiti siya ay madadala ka talaga sa presence niya.

"These people behind me will be your teachers. You will get to know them sooner or later. Pero bago yan, sisimulan na natin ang orientation." Headmaster Ivan.

"Aozora Academy is known to be the home of the strongest mages and knights. You all know the royals and nobles are required to attend. And those who are not born in a royal family or noble household is a chosen one in each division which we call scholars." Patuloy niya.

That is how the academy works. Yan ang sinabi sakin ni Vance kanina habang nakasakay kami sa karwahe kanina.

Lahat ng anak ng royal blood or nobility is required to attend school. The commoners have a different way of education.

Sa bawat kingdom, may 15 na divisions. Each divison has a school. They will choose their strongest student to study in Aozora Academy. So there would be 15 scholars each per kingdom.

"Now I will be telling you the main rules in the academy." Headmaster.

I listened to every word he said. I honestly like the rules. Kasali na kasi dito ang pagbabawal ng discrimination against students. Even if you are a royal, noble or commoner, it is not good to engage discrimination. The headmaster told us that no one in this academy has a weak power. Lahat ng estudyante rito ay malalakas. Hindi man mula sa kilalang pamilya, malakas naman ang mahika.

There were other rules that he said. But there is only one thing that bothered me here. That is the male and female thing. Wala namang rule na nagsasabing bawal humawak ng weapons ang mga mage or even practice self defense like taekwondo, martial arts or whatnot. It is more like a nonsense etiquette and belief. That is the same for the knights too. Wala din namang rule ang nagsasabing matuto sila ng magic spells or something.

Para talaga akong nasa sinaunang panahon. Minus the discrimination part. And to my surprise, they really live up to their belief. The girls or the mages never hold weapons. Same as the guys or the knights who never use magic spells. But mages and knights can never live without each other.

Pero ibahin mo ako, I can use weapons and I can cast magic spells. Ang nakakaalam lang nito ay si Vance saka yung mga magulang namin. Nagulat pa nga sila dahil wala pa silang nakitang babae na naghahawak ng weapons.

Nagpatuloy pa rin ang mahabang orientation ni headmaster. I listened hanggang sa matapos ito.

"Before you leave, there will a letter front of you. That will be your dorm room and other information. The whole day will be your time to have a tour around the academy. Tomorrow will be your first day so good luck." Headmaster sabay ngiti at alis. The teachers followed him saka na tumayo na kaming lahat matapos namin kunin yung lumitaw na envelope na naglalaman ng letter sa harap namin. Binasa ko yung envelope saka binasa yung letter.

"Saang dorm ka ba Vance?" Tanong ko kay Vance habang naglalakad kami paalis.

"Bawal babae dun sa boys dorm uy." Ngising tukso sakin ni Vance

"Nagtatanong lang ulul." Ganti ko sa kanya na ikinatawa niya.

"0932." Sabi niya. Tumatango-tango lang ako and we kept on talking hanggang sa makarating kami doon sa may lobby.

"See ya!" Vance sabay punta sa dorm ng mga knights.

Hinanap ko na ang dorm room ko. And when I found it, bumungad sakin ang maganda nitong sala. Still victorian style interior.

I placed my bags in a corner at nag-unat. Tiningnan ko pa ang buong interior ng bahay. It was a mix of black, blue, pink and silver. I liked the color and I admired the decorations around.

Napunta ako sa bedroom. Magkaparehas lang sila ng theme dun sa sala. May isang king size na kama saka may malaking aparador. There is even a table where I can do my makeup and a full body mirror.

I found a mannequin that is wearing a black uniform. It had a letter entangled on it's neck. Kinuha ko iyon saka binasa.

There was also a box below the mannequin. Binuksan ko ang kahon at nilagay sa kama ko ang laman nun.

A scroll, textbooks, notebooks and other school supplies that a student needs. I got curious with the scroll kaya yun muna ang binasa ko.

Training - 10:00 - 11:00

So this is my schedule for the entire morning. Napatingin ako sa orasan. Malapit na pala ang lunch. Lumabas na ako sa kwarto ko at pumunta sa kusina para magluto ng kakainin.
