(y/n) heaved a deep sigh of relief as she sipped on her hot choco, a smile plastered on her face as she felt how ashido's eyes were piercing through her very soul, "you're lucky that i woke up."

"yeah, sorry about that." (y/n) giggles, sharing her warm drink with her best friend as they started to keep their conversation going.

apparently, despite of the beautiful night, the sky went cloudy without (y/n) noticing, for her eyes were closed as she was letting herself being hit by the midnight breeze, and then, rain eventually fell. since she was leaning on the railings way too much, she fell off her balcony, landing on solid ground with her face kissing the asphalt. in short, it hurts.

"you sure you didn't break any of your bones? i'm quite worried, (y/n)." ashido worriedly sighs, checking every part of (y/n)'s body to make sure she's not injured whatsoever. she found a few minor bruises and scratches, though.

"you know, for a strong quirk wielder, you really are dumb." the pink-skinned giggles teasingly, lightly smacking the back of her friend's head, sitting back down on the couch across (y/n).

clicking her tounge, (y/n) gave her pink friend a death glare, "oh, shut up, you!" she whisper-yells in annoyance, but settled down as soon as she felt how her body hurts so much from her fall.

"anyway, i'm sorry for troubling you, mina. it's the crack of dawn." the (e/c)-eyed female flashed a small frown, squirming on her seat as she tried to divert her eyes away from her friend's.

"don't worry about it, girl! you're my best friend! i'll be by your side whenever you need help!" ashido happily cheers, not minding to carelessly raise her voice since she can guarantee for herself that they won't hear her.

settling down as well, mina now had an extremely serious look on her face, like as if she has the intent to kill just to make everything clear for her to understand. (y/n) noticed her best friend's stare and immediately locked her eyes with ashido's, neither of them bothering to utter even a single word. they kept this action going for a few good minutes, and finally, ashido opened her mouth to start a conversation.

"now, it's time to get down to business, (y/n)." ashido seriously says as she rested her elbows on top of her own thighs, wanting an answer to her questions, "i'd like to know why you aren't able to sleep despite being able to at any hour."

(y/n) had her lips pursed even before the pink-skinned female stated her sentence. she knew very well that she would ask for an asnwer to her actions. though, she did thought that ashido wouldn't, but as a friend, ashido wants to know every single detail to make her understand.

"any time now, dear." ashido smiles, signalling her best friend that telling her what's up is alright.

"it's about bakugou. you know, i'm happy for him that he got over being unable to sleep, but... y-you know. i... kinda miss him, since we always talk late at night." (y/n) shyly explains, immediately averting her eyes away from ashido's with a faint blush forming on her face.

we all know that ashido should be screaming because of what her (h/c)nette friend had said, however, her next question towards (y/n) was so unsual for her do ask even (y/n) was unable to answer it right away.

"you're not catching feelings for bakugou, are you, (y/n)?"

ashido's question indeed took (y/n) aback, however, instead of shaking her head furiously, (y/n) giggles under her breath, answering her friend's question.

"i guess i am."
