as bakugou and (y/n) walked by each other's side, both their eyes are averted to the beautiful sky. it was shining of stars. in short, it was beautiful. however, in spite of the beautiful night, both didn't bother to utter a single word. it's rare for them to even have a long talk, what more if it's them escape ua's grounds together at a late hour.
"just so you know, i didn't tag you along because i wanted to." bakugou blurts out without facing the female, mentally punching himself for saying such a stupid thing. what are you saying? of course you wanted to tag her along, bakugou. he thought and 'tched'.
"i'm sorry, could you repeat that? my ears suddenly closed due to your lies." (y/n) replies teasingly with a smug smirk plastered on her face, which caused bakugou to divert his attention to (y/n)'s face and nearly throw her up in the air. fortunately for the lady, bakugou compressed his anger and embarrassment.
"i'm starting to regret asking you to accompany me to buy some snacks. i should've just let you sleep." bakugou clicks his tounge in annoyance, averting his eyes away from her beautiful (e/c) orbs once again.
it's true, bakugou didn't want to tag her along, especially this late at night and without their homeroom teacher's permission, but he only took the chance to be with her for a few moments and think of a plan to get rid of her while she's i a vulnerable state, but of course, his heart opposes.
"you should've." "then why did you agree in the first place, idiot!?" "because i'm fucking hungry."
as if on cue, (y/n)'s stomach region started to grumble quite loudly, which caused bakugou to sweatdrop and stare at her in disbelief and disgust, "how unladylike." bakugou commented because of the sudden event.
that was the cutest shit i heard, what the fuck? in spite of bakugou's verbal answer, that sentence is what his mind said. a faint blush crept up his face, hurriedly turning his head to hide the embarrassing tint of pink plastered on his face.
"is it my fault that my stomach grumbles, bakugou?" she asks with an eyebrow raised as she crossed her arms, expecting a retort from the latter, but all bakugou did was to produce a 'tch' sound and walked hurriedly as a sight of the convenience store was seen.
(y/n) took the signal and quickened her walking pace, catching up with him and as soon as they entered the shop, they were greeted by a rather chubby man in his teenage years working out by the door.
"u-uh, hi! good evening." (y/n) greets calmly to her rid of the awkward air as she intentionally pulled bakugou by her side as they both started to walk to where the potato chips are. instead of questioning her action, bakugou kept silent as he lowered his head, hiding his eyes from her sight.
"alright, bakugou. which ones do you want to get?" (y/n) casually asks and checked the bags of the said snack. all of these are delicious. i wonder what this asshole wants. she thought, her eyes now averting to bakugou's direction to see how he was doing, but he just stood there with his head lowered and his fists clenched.
(y/n) heaved out a deep sigh and fixed her standing position to face him properly, but as soon as she did so, she eventually found herself being pulled closer to the male's figure, the tips of their noses nearly touching. the sudden action had the same feeling as the moment bakugou grabbed (y/n) by the collar of her uniform, but this one feels new for the (h/c)-haired female. it felt... flattering to the point her heart started to beat at the very moment and finally, bakugou spoke.
"do that again and i'll kill you."
