as the (h/c)nette closed the pocketbook on her hands, she mentally sighed and unconsciously smiled as she reminisced all the things that has happened between them within a short span of time, both good and bad. if bakugou didn't ask her to help him sleep, of course, none of this could've ever happened to them. if he didn't asked for her help, then they wouldn't feel the happiness they're feeling now.
just then, the little kid sitting on her lap had her eyes sparkling in joy as she saw how (y/n)'s plump lips stretched to a smile. "the book you made is so cute, mama! i wanna have a relationship like yours!" she exclaimed in excitement as she gave her mother a hug, which caused the light-quirked female to chuckle softly and hug her back. "you're still too young for that, asuka-chan."
"eh? but you and papa were young when you got together, too!" the little girl named asuka whines as she turned her head away from her mother's (e/c) hues, a pout creeping up her lips.
(y/n) frowned at her child's remark, and then, an idea popped inside her head. "that's because papa threatened me that if i don't be his girlfriend, he'll blow me away!" (y/n) shrieked. a bit too exaggerated, yes, but she's sure that it'll be effective for a 4-year-old kid.
and as expected by the mother, asuka's heterochromatic hues widened in surprise and diverted her eyes back to her mother's orbs, and there, (y/n) saw the flame in her eyes. the flame that's willing to prioritize the passion to win for her to save lives, just like what her father always think about. "sou desu ka? mama, papa's on his way home, right?" asuka asked with a menacing tone, which caused (y/n) to mentally chuckle and nod her head. right after asuka was born, she expected the kid to have the same personality as her, however, it got mixed up in the end.
