Three weeks later...

It's been three weeks since I've been home. To say it hasn't been hard because of the nightmares would be a lie.
I learned to live life by keep pushing through. It was just another challenge that god gave me before I did have my son.
Today was the day that we finally had our baby shower. I was excited for the most part.
"Baby", I heard David call out
"Yea I called out from the bathroom. I soon heard footsteps but I continue to bake my face.
"Which you doin in hea", Dave said to me. I turned and face him waving my brushing.
"My makeup dummy", he smiled
"You know I love right", he said which made me look at him more in the mirror.
"I know and I love you too", I said back to him looking at him
"Forever and always ma remember dat shit", he said then slapping my ass. I rolled my eyes
"Yea, I know David", I said the resining back to my makeup
"How long you gon take before you get ready", David called out. I laughed lightly.
"10 more minutes"
