(Y/n)'s POV

Your class just left Bruce's lab. Flash was still furious from the interaction. The whole elevator was in shock from Bruce revealing that you and Peter had such high IQs.

Everyone was silent until FRIDAY said, "Arriving in the cafeteria. Have a nice lunch."

A few thanks yous could be heard from everyone. Peter motioned for you to go but you quipped,

"Ladies first." He just rolled his eyes and you smirked.

"That's not very nice to poke fun at your classmate," Mr. Harrington scolded you.

"Sorry," you replied quietly. He had no idea the depths of your and Peter's friendship. Friendship. You frowned a little at the thought of just being friends.

"Hey, you alright?" Ned noticed the sad look on your face.

"Yeah. But I just realized I left my lunch on the counter in the kitchen," you sighed.

"Hey I forgot mine too," Peter overheard and laughed causing you to chuckle too.

"For two superheroes you really suck at remembering things," Ned snickered.

The three of you laughed and you all walked to an open table. You and Peter sat next to each other and Ned and MJ sat together. They were eating their lunches and you both just sat there occasionally adding to the conversation. You were mid-sentence when you heard a too familiar voice.

"Why do you two always forget everything?" Loki asked from behind you.

You both turned around and saw him standing there with your lunches. Everyone around you was in awe that the God of Mischief was talking to the "loser table".

"Are these the Ned and MJ I hear you two talking about all the time?" Loki questioned.

"You've told him about us?" Ned said excitedly.

"Yes, you both have come up in a couple of conversations," you said taking your lunch from Loki's hands. You and Loki had a brother-sister-type relationship. Your friendship started when you first met.

Flashback

You were sitting on the couch in the common room reading Northanger Abbey when you heard someone enter the room. Even though you had only been in the tower for 2 weeks, you had memorized everyone's walking pattern. Being a now ex-assassin you learned some tricks of the trade, but you didn't recognize this person. You could easily read his mind and find out who he was, but you wanted to make the day interesting.

"Hello?" you called out.

"So. You are the Captain's daughter?" the figure asked.

"Yeah what of it?"

"Do you not know who I am?" he questioned. You had now realized it was a man from the voice and realized he was walking heavier than a woman would.

"Should I?" you asked never putting your book down.

You guessed the guy was around 6'2" and 170 pounds. Knowing you could take him if he was a threat, but your powers let you know he wasn't. The mysterious man came into the light and glared at you.

Finally, putting your book down you said, "Aren't you that guy who tried taking over New York? I heard bits and pieces about you when I was in Russia."

"Why aren't you afraid of me?" You looked at him for a moment before laughing and saying,

"Seriously? I've dealt with worse things than you, pal. But I have heard you have a temper. What would you say your anger level is right now on a scale from 1-10?"
