Third Person POV

The sound of FRIDAY blaring through Peter's speakers jolted him awake, and his immediate thought was, Oh, no. It's the day of the trip. He groaned and sluggishly pulled on his clothes for school. As he stepped into the hallway, (Y/n) was there, looking equally miserable. Together, they made their way to the elevator, the weight of the day ahead hanging over them. Neither of them was looking forward to the field trip, both knowing it was bound to be a disaster.

They trudged into the kitchen and collapsed at the table, both still lost in their thoughts.

"Get a load of these glum mugs," Bucky said, pointing at them with a teasing grin.

"Well, I bet if you had to go to your house for a field trip, you wouldn't be the happiest either," (Y/n) shot back, raising an eyebrow.

"Touche," Bucky replied, a grin creeping onto his face.

Peter chuckled, amused by their back-and-forth. He took a bite of the waffles Bucky had made, but the moment was cut short by an unexpected scream.

"Why is it always Clint who's yelling?" Peter asked, half-smiling.

Before anyone could respond, the sound of running footsteps filled the room. Peter looked up just in time to see Sam chasing Clint around with the lightsabers they had made for them.

"(Y/N) AND PETER, WHY DID YOU MAKE THESE?!" Pepper yelled, trying to break up the chaos, her voice full of exasperation.

Peter and (Y/n) exchanged a glance and then burst into laughter.

"Cause we could," Peter said, still chuckling.

Everyone in the room joined in, laughter filling the kitchen, (Y/n) especially. She couldn't stop giggling at Peter's casual response.

"You know," (Y/n) said, still laughing, "we made one for you too, Pepper. You should just fight them back."

Pepper looked at her in surprise. "You did?"

"Yep," Peter confirmed, "and we made one for everyone. Even Mr. Fury. Have you noticed how much he looks like Mace Windu?"

At this, (Y/n) pulled up a picture of Mace Windu on her phone and showed it to Pepper. After a moment of looking, Pepper couldn't help but agree that there was a striking resemblance.

"We even made Fury's lightsaber purple," Peter added, his eyes twinkling. "Just to match the Mace Windu vibe."

Before anyone could respond, Tony sauntered in, a wide smirk on his face. "Are you two ready for the best field trip ever?" he asked sarcastically, clearly enjoying the tension in the air.

"Oh, yayyyyyyy," (Y/n) said flatly, throwing her hands up in jazz hands for extra flair.

A few of the others chuckled at her mock enthusiasm, but Tony just shook his head, still grinning.

"Alright, you better get going or you'll be late for the big trip," Tony said, his smirk still in place.

Peter and (Y/n) grabbed their backpacks and walked toward the door, waving goodbye to everyone as they headed out.

As they settled into Happy's car, (Y/n) flashed him a warm smile. "Hey, Happy. How's your morning going?"

"Pretty good," Happy replied, his tone relaxed as he focused on the road. "Thanks for asking."

(Y/n) nodded, and then turned to Peter, eager to start a conversation. "Have you heard anything about the new Star Wars trilogy?" she asked, her voice light and animated.
