Katrina Ivory had become the impossible, found love, and found a new family all in a year. She finally had a place to call home, a place that helped push her to become the vigilante she was always meant to be. In saving that city though, she had lost friends that meant a lot to others. Katrina had thought it was best to take a break from the man she loved, they were both feeling extreme guilt at what had happened, and the only way she could deal was pulling away from him. But would they be able to overcome what had happened six months ago, and would they be able to face whatever new threats start to appear in their city. Barry didn't want Katrina to break things off with them, but he understood why she had chosen to.
The team had each gone their separate ways after what had taken place, and Katrina had decided to stop being Bolt, but she knew that Barry was still going around being the Flash and was trying to make things right for what had happened. But something happens that causes them all to realize that they are better as a team and the city was going to need them now more than ever. As they believe things are back to normal a stranger walks into the Lab, that makes them all learn that there is more worlds out there and other versions of their team. Learning to trust this new friend is hard for Barry and Katrina after everything that had happened the year before with their mentor. With this new friend though comes another new threat one that makes Barry and Katrina question their abilities and how they can truly be heroes and prove to Central City that lightning will strike again in their city.
