Breaking news: the 53rd season of the beloved TV show, Danganronpa, is cancelled, the creators say.

Our sources say that something malfunctioned in the simulation and the "mastermind" went rogue.

We'll have more on that story in a few moments, but now...

•°•

A bright light turned towards Rantaro's face, which caused him to squint. As his vision focused, he was met with the queen of Danganronpa herself....

Junko Enoshima.

She looked irritated. Her eyes were narrowed, her lips formed a slight frown, and her brows were furrowed. Next to her sat her beloved sister, Mukuro Ikusaba. Her raven hair glistened in the light above, black freckles dancing across her face. Her exresion was similar to Junko's. They were pissed at him.

Rantaro attempted to stand, only to fail. He looked down to see cuffs on his ankles. One side attached to the chair, the other tightly digging into his skin on his ankle. He looked back up to the sisters. There was a small black and white teddy bear sitting in Junko's lap, which Rantaro had.just noticed.

"We gave you ONE job, Fuck-Boy." Junko growled, holding up her index finger, indicating the number one. Mukuro silently nodded. "You screwed it up. All you had to do was act as our eyes. Yet you went and done fucked it up. Now we have to cancel the ENTIRE fucking season. Do you use your fucking brain, by any chance?" Junko snapped, slamming her hand on the table. Rantaro flinched. "I'm sorry." Junko stood. She was royally pissed now. "SORRY DOESN'T FUCKING CUT IT, BUSTER! YOU RUINED *MY* ENTIRE DUCKING SHOW! AND FOR WHAT? HUH?!" She was looming over Rantaro now, the boy recoiling and sinking in his seat. "I... I had to see him." Junko flinched. "S-See who?" She asked, tripping over her words. Rantaro gulped. Well, there's no turning back now. "K-Kokichi."

Mukuro and Junko's expression turned into that of a shocked one. "HIM?! YOU CREATED HIM! WHY DID YOU NEED TO SEE HIM OF ALL PEOPLE?!" Junko roared, her expression going back to outraged. "BECAUSE I FELL FOR HIM!" Junko paused. Her expression faltered for a moment. Rantaro glared up at the female across the table. This was obviously a strange thing to process. It even confused Rantaro himself. "I didn't plan to destroy your show. My stupid ass just couldn't keep his feelings in check." Junko slammed her fist on the table. "THAT'S BULLSHIT! I'M GONNA FUCKING MURDER YOU!" She screamed, reaching at Rantaro. Though, she was pulled back by Mukuro.  "Junko! Calm down! He's still human! It's expected of him to feel human things like that!" Junko slapped Mukuro's hand away. "Does it look like I give a fuck?! He couldn't have bottled up his feelings until AFTER my show?! He still could have seen the little shit if he just would. Have. Waited." Mukuro sighed. "Just... let him off this time. Please? There's always more seasons." Junko thought for a moment. "UGHHHHH. Fine. Just get him out of my sight! I don't wanna see his stupid Fuck-Boy face ever again." And with that, the cuffs on Rantaro's ankles released. He stood and exited the room as quickly as he could.

"I'm such an idiot."

A few weeks had passed since everyone got out from the simulation. They couldn't be put back into the game, it'd require a different routine that the Danganronpa team hadn't prepared. And so, everyone was forced to have a normal life, expecting them to just forget what happened in the simulations. The team used what funds they had left for the 53rd season to enroll all fifteen students into a local high school. It fucked with Kokichi's mind on a whole other level. They were just supposed to live their lives after what happened in the simulation? They were just... shoved into a school, forced to live like normal people, and forget about participating in the most popular TV show on the planet? Pretty fucked and confusing, that's for sure.

But that's where Kokichi was wrong. He forgot the Dangan team had one small trick up their sleeves.

Mind erasing.

And so, they brought all fifteen students into similar rooms as the ones they woke up in, and set them up on a different machine. This was supposedly going to erase all memories of participating in Danganronpa.

Which meant Kokichi was going to forget everyone he met in the simulation.

And he would go back to his introverted self.

He went on with it anyway. It's not like he had a choice either. He was hooked onto the machine, and with a press of a switch, it activated.

After a few moments, the machine shut off.

When Kokichi was pulled from the machine, he was passed out. It was fine. That was supposed to happen. But,.once he woke up, everything would be gone.

----

Kokichi shot up. He hastily looked around the room and started to panic. This wasn't his bedroom. This place was unfamiliar. He didn't like it. He wanted to go home. And... what was he wearing? A checkered scarf? All white? When did he get these clothes? It all just confused him more. It made his head hurt.

But then, a door opened. His eyes darted to the door and watched as someone entered. It was a boy. He was tall, matcha colored hair, multiple ear piercings, round eyes with feminine eye lashes, and a lankier build. He looked... so familiar. Yet, Kokichi didn't know who he was. But then, he walked over and sat on Kokichi's bed. His breath lightly hitched as he turned his head away. "I'm sorry." He muttered, just barely loud enough for Kokichi to hear. What was he sorry for? "U-Uhm...? Who... are you...? And... why am I here...?" The boy's eyes widened. He seemed hurt when Kokichi asked who he was. But, the boy only shook it off. "Sorry, where are my manners? I'm Rantaro Amami. Where you are isn't important. I just came by to say... um... that..." His name was Amami? Why did that sound so familiar as well? Well, Amami, as he said his name was, seemed really fidgety. Like he had something on his mind. "Anyway, um... I guess I should say bye... oh! And don't worry, you'll be brought home soon. But, yeah..." He gulped a bit, like he was fighting back tears. He messed with the rings on his hands, looking down. But then, he stood up and turned to Kokichi, sadly smiling at him.

"Good bye, Ouma."

{1105 words. ACK. OKAY, FIRST OF ALL, I'M SORRY I HAVEN'T UPDATED. I'VE BEEN BUSY. AND SECOND OF ALL, I HONESTLY DID NOT PLAN FOR THIS TO RANDOMLY TURN PREGAME. HALFWAY TROYGH WRITING THIS, I RANDOMLY HAD THE IDEA SO BAM. HERE WE ARE. I DON'T KNOW WHY I'M YELLING.
