Skye's pov
I was sitting in my pup house until Zuma came and knocked on the door."Skye are you okay? Can you let me in?" Zuma asked. I open my pup house door and let him in. "Skye, what's wrong? You can tell me anything." Zuma said. He was the second closest friend to me in the group so I can't lie to him. "(sighs) I........ just........really like M-M-Marshall. I just can't tell him, he probably likes Everest" I said sadly. "Skye, look at me." I did as what he said. "Skye, you have nothing to worry about. I'm sure Marshall likes you. So what about you come out and play with us?" said Zuma. "Thanks Zuma, uhhhh.....can I come out later because I'm kinda tired." I said. "Ok, just come out when you're ready." he said. "Ok, but Zuma. Can you not tell them about me liking Marshall. Please." I beg him. "You can count on me." he said. "Thanks." I said giving him a smile.
No one's pov
After 10 minutes, both Marshall and Skye went out of their pup houses and went to play with their friends. They were playing volleyball now. "Hey Marshall. Hey Skye." All the pups said. "Hey guys." said Marshall and Skye. "Want to play volleyball? Rocky asked. "Sure!" all pups except Rocky said. It's Marshall, Skye and Zuma against Chase, Rubble and Rocky. They played volleyball till evening. "I'm tired." said Rubble. All the pups nodded in agreement. "Pups, dinner time!" Ryder said. After a long volleyball game Rubble as usual rushes to the lookout and eat. Everyone and Ryder laughed. After dinner is bedtime for them. All the pups were fast asleep except for Marshall and Skye.
Marshall's pov
"(sighs) I'm so clumsy, I nearly hit the ball at Skye just now. I couldn't bear to see her get hurt. I think she hates me."i said almost sobbing.
Skye's pov
"My skills are so bad just now! Marshall could've laughed at me. I'm just a piece of ant that anyone could accidentally step on." I said while sobbing. I can't stop thinking about how embarrassing it was. But slowly I drifted of to sleep.
