Chapter Two

When school ended I went to my locker and got my stuff I needed for homework and put it in my bookbag. Then I walked to my car, got in and started the engine. I was about to drive away when I saw something in the corner of my eye. I look over and there is my dead girlfriend all cleaned up and beautiful.

She looks like she did at her funeral. I put my hand up and put it on top of her head then I let my hand fall and it goes right through her. Even though she looks real and solid. “Ellie?” I saw then I start crying and I pass out.

I wake up later and its darker outside I look at the clock and it shows five o’clock on the small little screen on the dashboard. I look to my right and saw that Ellie is gone. I sat up and looked out the window. I wasn’t in the school parking lot anymore. Infact I dont even think I was close to the school at all.

I opened the door and saw what looked like a warehouse. It looked really old and dirty. I don't think any one has been in it for years. I walked inside and saw a crazy weird sight. I saw Ellie sitting on some crates swinging her legs back and forth humming a song.

And the new girl Hannah petting a black dog. “Finally.” Ellie said when she saw me. I opened my mouth about to say something but couldn't.

“Oh good you're up.” Hannah said when she heard Ellie.

“What is going on here...I...I don't understand.” I said.

I didn't understand how Ellie was here and why the new girl Hannah was here also. Hannah was about to explain when big and little ugly looking creatures bursts through the door. Ellie gasps then I felt a weird tingle in my foot and it shot up through my body all the way up to my head. Then I started charging and saw a blade come out of know where into my hand. When I got to the ugly creatures I started killing them off.

When I killed all the little ones there were two big ones left. I stood and they charged at me. When they got to me I did a flip that I didn't know I could do. When they realized they went under me they turned around and charged at me. Then I stabbed one of them and turned and stabbed the other one they both fell to the floor dead.

“Excellent” I heard from across the room. I looked over and saw Hannah writing in her notebook. Ellie then looked and me and gasped.

“What?” I asked her

“Your eyes there an orangish yellow color.” she answered I pulled out my phone and looked at the camera.

She was right my green eyes weren't green any more they were a orangish yellow color.

“That what they are supposed to look like when he fights .” Hannah said

“Know one has explained to me what happened here. I have questions.” I told them

“Okay what would you like to know?” Hannah asked me.

“One what just happened, two what were those things, three who are you and four how is Ellie alive?” I asked her

“Good questions you just fought a fallen reaper and a demon. And I am not a little teenage human, I am an Angel of the Lord. And Ellie is just a ghost I brought her with me to help you.” Hannah answered

“So why did my eyes turn a different color and how did this blade appear and how did i fight like that?”

“Okay okay slow down...You are The Protector.” She said

“The what?” I asked I don't know if she knew but she sounded insane.

“You are half Angel the only one on earth. You were made to fight Gadreel that is who sent the fallen reapers and demons. Gadreel is trying to take over Heaven.” She said.
