Chapter Three

“The Archangel Gabriel? The one seated at the hand of the father? Gods Warrior?” I asked him wanting to make sure I wasn't mistaken on who he was.

“Yes that Gabriel.” he answered

“But my father died when I was young, in the army.” I told him

“Thats what your mother told you but that was your sisters father.” he told me

“So my sister is my half sister?” I asked him

“Yes.” he said

“Why did you leave?” I asked him

“I had a duty to Heaven Ashton, I couldnt waste my time on a little family.” he answered. That sentence felt like it through me across the room.

“Well I would like to say nice to meet you but I can't. So I hope I never see you again.” And with that I walked away to my car.

“Dalton wait!” he called

“You didnt even get my name right.” I said to him still walking to my car. When I got to my car Ellie was waiting for me in the passenger seat.

“Sorry it didnt work out Ash.” she said when I got into the car.

“I didn't set it up for you it was Lucas’s idea.” she finished

“Whatever, it doesn't matter.” I told her. It was silent the rest of the way home. By the time I got home Ellie had left the car. When I got inside I went straight to my room. When I got in there I saw the last person I wanted to see.

“Hello son.” he said when I walked in.

“Get out.” I told him.

“Look son…”he started but I cut him off.

“No you don't look son me, i’m not your son, your not my fathers. So you're just a strange lunatic man in my bedroom.” when I finished he had a shocked look on his face.

“What?” I asked him in a harsh tone.

“How did you know?” he asked me

“Know what?” I asked him, I was so confused, I didn't even know what he was talking about. Then he shushed me and left. I didn’t even know what just happened. After I changed out of my workout clothes I went downstairs for dinner. After dinner I went up stairs to work on my story for Mrs.Greene’s class. When I got tired of doing that I went to bed.

I woke up in the warehouse. There were Fallen Reapers and Demons all around me. I felt a weird tingle in my foot and it shot up through my body all the way up to my head again like the last time. Then I started charging and saw a blade come out of know where into my hand. When I got to them I started killing them. I stabbed two at a time that how fast I was. I dont even know why Hannah said I needed training. I think i’m pretty good at fighting if I may say so. When I finished killing them that Gadreel guy showed up, he was clapping.

“Good job, excellent work.” he said to me.

“Can I help you?” I asked him.

“No just here to see how you would do with that fight there and I must say you did excellent.”he said

“And your eyes, this is perfect.” he said

“Well this is weird.” I said as he stared at me.

“I'm just going to leave.” I told him  

“No stay, i'm just admiring this perfect creation here.” he said gesturing to me. Then he waved his hand in the air.

I woke up and looked at the clock it was seven o’clock.

“Crap...crap...crap.” I said

“I need to stop waking up late.” I said to myself. I got dressed, brushed my teeth, and ate breakfast. When I got to school Hannah, Ellie and Lucas were waiting there for me.

“I dont want to talk to you guys right now.” I told Hannah and Lucas.

“Did Gadreel visit you last night?” Hannah asked me.

“Yeah.” I told her in an irritated tone well trying to get my stuff from my locker.

“I was afraid this would happen.” she said as I walked to my class. I turned around abruptly and Hannah almost ran into me.

“Do you not know what I don't want to talk to you means? I dont want to be a protector, I don't want Gabriel to be my father. I dont want any of this, I dont want you in my life. I wish Ellie had not died and you two didn't come into my life.” I regretted it as soon as I said it. Ellie look at me in complete shock, Lucas left and Hannah didn't look up at me.

Then everything started spinning, I saw Hannah disappear and Ellie after her. Then everything went black.
